Left on my call display, on further research by Google, the number reveals itself to match Online Yellow Pages Group Inc, one company based in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the other in Montreal, Qc

THIS IS A SCAM!
They call themselves Online Yellowpages, but they are in NO WAY associated with YellowPages or yellowpages.com. They called our business with all of the information from our yellowpages.com account and acted as if they were a representative of said company. Thank goodness we did not give them any money over the phone. When we figured out that it was not the same company, we did out research online. They are actually based in Canada, and the real onlineyellowpages.com has a fraud alert about them on their website. We emailed them and told them we would not be paying the acount as we were misled. They sent an email back saying they would delete our account. Several months later we started getting calls about non-payment. This was over a year ago. They still occasionally call to harass us, but we have caller ID and ignore the calls. They have left nasty, unprofessional messages threatening us. They have never turned us in to a collection agency - everything is done in-house, and you can only reach them from 10-5 Mon - Fri throught their 1-800 number.
BEWARE!

Wayne Stevens represents Online Yellow Pages Group. He says that I owe him $589.98 for advertisement on their website listing.   He has been calling and harassing me and my attorney for 2 weeks now.  My attorney has told him that this is a legal matter now and not to call me any more.  He has since continued to call my business 15 times.  My attorney called the Plattsburgh, New York Police Dept where this SO-Called company is located and the police dept said that they have several complaints against this company, but the address they give for address is only a Mailing Center.  Their company is actually in Canada.  They have no legal rights here in the USA for selling online advertisement.  It's all a scam!

On 3/31/09 I was contacted by a Pat Brooks with Online YellowPages Group INC, she then stated that my company placed an ad in January 14th 2009 on the OYPG, INC website. I then thought they were with Yellowpages.com until I called customer service. Afterwhich a boy Named Wayne Stevens kept calling me from 4/4/09-until today about my company owing 456.89 in advertising fees.

Please note this "Wayne Stevens" is a rude, unprofessional, a lier, racist and a want to be hard a** and "Pat Brooks" is quite sweet but is also a lier, she wanted my credit card information and/or check by phone. If you complain about Wayne they still will allow him to call you. He told me once that he hire people and he fire people. Someone needs to report is a** to the local police department for being a SCAMMER. This company has OVER 2,000 complaints on this site so please DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING, THEY ARE FAKES and RUDE. Please when you see this number 514-845-3913 or 877-312-8684 PICK UP AND TELL THEM YOUR CALLING YOU LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PRESS CHARGES FOR HARRASSMENT AGANIST THEM. ALSO NOTE this company will call you from "Unknown Numbers" or "Block Numbers" so BEWARE and if you pick up the phone please tell them to Stop Calling You

This company is not with At&T they may lie and say that also. You can go to www.yellowpages.com and report this issue as well. I was told by a representative with yellowpages.com/at&t that many people has contacted them about this "Wayne Stevens" and "Pat Brooks" Also Your caller id may show ext: 230 or ext: 232

My husband received a call from a "British sounding woman" who said she was suing his company for a fax sent to them about their company being a scam. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! Watch out and be wary, especially if you are a small business owner. Companies like this will try and milk you for all you are worth.
About a year ago we received a letter from these people and it was an invoice for a publication in a Yellow Book for his advertisement. Now, we didn't even sign up for this so we sent the invoice back disputing the bill.
WATCH out...don't give anyone who calls you from this number your time or personal info. Keep your hard earned money and don't let it go to some maple leaf in Canada who gets rich by ripping off honest Americans.

okay seriously all you people. AT&T is the biggest ripoff ever. These guys have helped my buisness so much over the past two months. I used to be just a small landscaper looking for jobs but now i have my corporate suits and have a chain of slaves working for me all because of them. they will bust their nuts to get what is needed done and i'm thankful. and as for the addresses of the poeple listed there i don't think anybody should be so angry over a simple call i mean if you're smart enough to go search it online then you're also smart enough to not pay.

and besides, the number of complaints against them is only a fraction of unsatisfied customers that are with the actual actual yellowpages.

so in the end my point is, these guys helped me a lot and if you find yourself ripped off, then you're just angry that yellowpages.com isn't ripping you off enough so send them a check and have a nice one.

Call 877 312 8684 and look up Hossein Qannadan's name. Then give him a bunch of abuse. He's getting quite tired of it. It is a free call and every time you call it, he gets billed about 80 cents.

Then call the Montreal Police 514 280 2121. They are investigating him.

They have called and claimed I signed up for a listing with them.  I did not!

We keep getting phone calls saying we need to update our account with a cost of $400 per year! ITS A SCAM! BE CAREFUL!

SCAM alert! Fell for the original phone call to update our listing with Yellow pages online while working, yes i am a subscriber to the REAL DEAL not this online-yellowpages.com scam company. got a bill in the mail, returned it with a cancel notice after noticing it was a fake company. How convienent of them not to receive my cancellation notice, oops now its too late and need to pay, but hey, i'll cut you a deal so you don't have to pay the full price... SCAMMER you aren't getting any of my $$. They leave msgs from the same two numbers saying they are from collections dept. once in a while they will request payment with late charges, sometimes they want to settle with a fee of only half, other times they want to have me make payments... really? What a flop!  They read the same lines over and over. I forwarded my complaint to the MA attorney general's office for a possible consumer fraud case.  Don't be fooled, they're website is a front for some shady business going on up there in Canaduh!  I mean really, they're website is junk just like their outfit. SCAM!

I am getting a call from 8684.  These are the only numbers that come up for me.
No one is there.  It comes through on my cell phone.  I would like for it to stop.

My bill over the past two years is now $2144...they said at $1000 it would go to collections and I have yet to hear from anyone...has anyone had any luck contacting a lawyer regarding this?
