Just received a call from this number.  It was Frontier Communications (formerly Verizon) wanting to do a review of my telephone bill to be sure I had the best plan (riiiight).  They also wanted to bundle my DirecTV account with my Frontier account.  The guy on the other end of the phone couldn't seem to get his computer to pull up any of our account records due to an alleged computer problem.  He said he'd call back when they got it working.

Have received several calls from this number trying to get me back to Frontier. I went wireless.

I phone solicit on behalf of Frontier Communications.
We are provided two programs:
Spot (the program to see packages, etc.  Formerly a Verizon program)
Liberation (automatic dialer, script and order program.  It's honestly a piece of [***], next to no information on it on the internet)

Liberation's major fault is that it has a lag problem with it's automatic dialing (sometimes minimal, sometimes severe) in which the time we hear the beep (the indicator that there is a person now on the line) you may have said hello a couple times.  Most people don't stick around on the phone long enough, so next time you see this number, give it a moment before hanging up.

Another thing, most of the solicitation calls for Frontier aren't actually FROM Frontier, as they hire many companies, including the one I work for, to make these calls for them.  We call about getting people a better value for their phone, internet and/or television services by bundling or some promotions or new plans (sometimes it's honestly better, though not usually)

Also, Spot shows us what packages you have and those packages only.  If you have, for example, the basic telephone like, it will show no existing packages, only that you are an existing customer.  We have to ask about calling features, long distance, etc. because the program doesn't display anything about them unless they are included in one of the packages we have to offer.

keeps calling , up to 9:PM at night. found out its Frontier, trying to get personal info on phone and TV satillite to dig up customers. Do Not call list is no help, been getting these calls from same # for months. filed a complaint several times, doesnt do any good.I wish someone would shoot these unscrupled [***].

They call me several times a week without leaving message. The one time i picked up, they were having trouble with their phone line(!) and disconnected themselves.

I see from above messages that's it's from Frontier Telephone.  They talked me into going with them on my long distance because they said it would cost me less than my current package deal.  When I got the bill, not only was it more than I had been paying but they removed my voice-mail without my asking them to.  I had to reinstate my old program (voice-mail) and go back to my previous long-distance carrier (ECG - a great company that only charges 2.5 cents a minute!).  It was just a big hassle for nothing and when I called Frontier to complain, they told me there was nothing they could do to correct my bill because 'They' were not responsible for what their 'agent' told me regarding the price I would be charged.  
Thanks Jordan for letting us in on the other side of what goes on.  I don't trust this company at all and they are the only ones I have available for my local telephone connections.  Gee I miss GTE!!

I have recieved several calls a day from this # like 10-15 times a day! I am on the Do not Call registry! I do not want to be contacted I am a senior with no extra income ad am very ill PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE

We hardly use our Frontier phone since our cell phones are our primary phones.  Just hard to get rid of it for some reason until now.  I can get an extra cell phone for less than 25% of what we are paying for basic service on Frontier.  Their constant calling is all the reason we need to dump them now.  Just have to wait till the cell phone store opens Monday.

I get these calls every three days or so......

All nuisance calls are screened but the frequency of THIS CALL is outstanding.

Usually everyone hangs up when they hear "No one is home right now............",

but this call prompts you to call on the Tele-corder........HEY, take a hint !!!

We dumped Verizon for reasons innumerable.

have never answered it.  been getting these calls for months now.  Just seconds before i posted this they called 6 times in 6 minutes but never leave a message.  This is harassment!

These people call our home five or six a day and I want them to stop.  We are on the no call list but they are ignoring it.

Answered on third ring, but received no response.

This number calls me with the caller ID name "Toll Free Call" somewhere around 2 to 4 times a day.
