Have been receiving calls from this number believe it is a credit collection service. Spoke to a representative told them the person they were looking for was not at this number. They continue to call.

these people keep phoning even though the person that they are looking for doesn't even live here. they are harassing me. too many phone calls.

I keep receiving calls from this number, but they won't tell me what it is about. They say they want my postal code and birthdate, but when I replied that if they have my phone number and my name they should have that information infront of them and I am not providing nothing until they tell me what this is about. The guy gets rude and tells me that I am being difficult and I am acting like I am better then anyone else. Maybe so, but unless they are going to tell me what it is about.. why should I give them any information? When I call the number back, the person who answers says that I need to call back at a later time cause they can't access any information. Why call if you can't provide the information? How do I get them to stop calling?

I am getting calls on a daily, evening, and weekend (SUNDAY EVEN) THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE Harassment and I will be reporting it! FUNNY THING they call 5 times in three minutes but don't leave a voicemail,  LOSER!   I wish I had the guts to answer and play a scam back (ask them for their personal info, and then say Ill call them back at home just as they are about to eat, and when they tell me they are not the person I am looking for I can continue to call and harassed them......but don't feel like wasting my minutes! and my energy!

I have them all blocked. I have 99% of all area codes blocked. No problem.

They call multiple times a day from various numbers (both American and Canadian numbers).  They are a collection agency that collects for Telus.  Very rude, very unprofessional people

Search on the web, What to do when a collecting agency calls.
Before they contact you, they have to send you a written notice through regular mail.
- the name of the person or business that says you owe money,
- the amount of money that you owe,
- the name of the collecting agency and a statement that the creditor has asked them to collect the debt.
After sending the notice, they have to wait 6 days before they can contact you in person or by phone.
After their first conversation with you, an agency can't contact you more than 3 times in a 7 days period without your consent.
A collecting agency can't:
- contact you on a Sunday, except between 13:00 and 17:00
- contact you on any other day of the week between 21:00 and 7:00 a.m.
- contact you on a holiday,
- use threatening, profane, intimidating or coercive language,
- use undue, excessive or unreasonable pressure of harass you,
- charge you any fees
Ask them their registration number
If a collecting agency is harassing you:
- tell them to stop contacting you,
- report them to your provincial C
Keep a log book, day, time, letters, e-mail they contact you.

My husband answered my phone and they claimed they were looking for him.  Then proceeded to ask him for his date of birth.  When he asked repeatedly who they were they would only say a collection agency - but wouldn't specify who or for what.  Only preceded to request his personal information.  He refused to provide it and told them if they were a proper agency they would have the information that they were requesting.  He advised them to stop calling but they still continue to do so.  Total harassment!

I have no idea what this call is related to we have never been behind on payments of anything! If they were a proper business company they would leave a message and they never do! I refuse to give my info out to anyone if they are calling me they should know everything about me, however they don't and they don't leave any message so it's not a legitimate call

It appears I am having the same trouble with the above numbers and so called CBV. Now I have more info to deal with them. Blocking numbers is a start. Changing my phone number might be better, seeing they appear to use so many numbers to get around the blocks. Up until yesterday it was 2 calls a week. Now 3 calls in last 24 hours. They want my date of birth before releasing any information. They even denied they were a collection agency until I told him he said it during the fast CBV collections intro. Hung up on me 4 times. I am building an official complaint against them. I don't give them any information.
