unwanted call. put on hold when answered

Sounds like a collection agency that doesn't have updated information for the people they are trying to reach.

Keeps leaving automated messages on my phone at work for somebody I've never heard of. No identification of the company -- just says they have an "important message" for this person who doesn't work here.

My answering machine picked up but no message.

It is a collection agency. They are using an automated machine. They call to annoy people who has some debt.

Sounds like a collection agency -- they keep calling my work number for some guy I've never heard of. I told them yesterday that they had called a state agency office, that I've had this number for years, I've never heard of this guy they're trying to track down and to stop calling this number. Lo and behold, they called again this morning. Totally illegal. Wondering if I can report them, to the AG's office with nothing but a phone number, since they never identify themselves.

This number called me about an hour after a different number. Same old story, I don't pick up and they leave a voice mail with nothing that is 2 seconds in length. I have no idea what they want.

You can report them to the ftc federal trade commissiom, www.ftc.gov  on their complaint page on their website. I keep getting thse calls too. Annoying

I tracked this number to a collection agency called Lazarus Financial Group Inc, in Plano, Texas.
This company is TOTALLY UNETHICAL and should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission for calling wrong numbers with wrong information. They are harassing and should be legally stopped.
