Jennifer - 26 Jun 2007This number has been calling our business office up to four times a week, for the last five weeks. Each time they call we tell them we are not interested, and they become argumentative. Each call we have requested that they do not call us again. Today, they called AGAIN and I *69 the number, called them back, and told them if they don't take our number off their database there is going to be a problem.

Susan - 1 Feb 2008They called us at 7:00 this AM. We work from home so this was not a pleasant time. I had to *69 the number as well. The company is Federated Payments @ Federatedpayments.com. I will contact them as well and request to be removed. If not and if not will turn them in.

Thank you for posting - 2 Jul 2008Ms. Jennifer, Thank you for posting this. We also received a call this morning, twice, and they hang up. Here is the real problem...and I beg to work with me on this. I am a business owner. I have been receiving harrassing and other types of calls. The problem is this: Business are not allowed to use the FTC DO NOT CALL list. Please contact your congressmen and senator immediately and ask them to contact Kelly with Congressman Jo Bonner, (R), Alabama to express support for allowing businesses to be added to the national do not call list. Thank you.

The guy who called me today started yelling at me when I asked him not to call again. He wanted to send someone to my business to talk about their crazy scheme. This company should be shut down.

A.S. - 10 Aug 2007They have repeatedly called my business, and I have repeatedly told them we are not a retail business, hence never have and never will have use for credit card payments, but they keep calling anyway. I called the toll free # back today and chewed them out, told them to quit calling...we'll see. According to their website, their corporate headquarters is in NY. If they call again, I'm filing a complaint with the BBB.

I think they were trying to get us to sign up for their credit card services, but they had nothing to do with my current processing company. I do not trust them.

I called the number back, dialed zero, got a human and asked who I needed to talk to to get taken off their call list. She claimed she would take care of it so I gave her our number.
The company answered as Federated and they are a credit card processing deal I think.
My thing is - call to seel andif I say no - then it is done. Call, and hang up on me when I say the boss is not in- and it is war.

JinVA - 10 Sep 2007They called me, and asked for our business owner. When I told them he was in the North Carolina office...he just flat hung up on me. This is the third time in the last three months. I looked them up on the web, and they have a PDF document that placed a tracking cookie on my computer, and there are also notes of IDENTITY THEFT under this phone number. I think they are one of the companies responsible for stealing our informantion and selling it. BEWARE!!! I AM calling the BBB.

prosector - 8 Jul 2008OK small business can not use the do not call list, but if you have asked them to take your number off their list and they don't then that is grounds for harrasment.
Every one should stat calling their free phone number and NY offices and hang up when they answer just like they do.
