it's from a supposed "law firm" called O'brien Wexler. In reality they're a collections firm (most likely a fraud, since there is no listing for them anywhere.  All calls are transfered to, and made from cell phones.

This company is owned by Charles Johnson Jr. they will NEVER sue you they are a scam collections company. they DO NOT take away driver licensee. Chuck johnson put that on here to scare you.

Why do you want us to call the Police Dept in Louisiana?

I received a call tonight from these people, they said there is a problem with a transaction with my checking account.  They left a message and I looked them up online and found you guys.  Im so glad I did.    I know for sure there is no problem.  I know everthing thats going on with my accounts. I hope these crooks get in trouble.

i recieved a call as well yesterday evening. they said they were calling me in regards to a returned check from 2008 that i had issued to a payday lender. i paid them because i have been trying to get this removed from my credit...

a barbara sandstream has been calling my phone,leaving messages saying i have a civil dispute in montgomery county and that i need a lawyer ,i havent lived in montgomery county in 4 years,with the threats these people give you,i was very scared.she even said to go to my local police department and file a report with all my info and send them a copy of my i.d.,when i called the police in fear of being arrested by this bfalse claim they instucted me to do nothing,or give them my info,and upoun finding this page online,because you cant look them up,i feel very grateful,now i will file my complaint..thanks guys.

there debt collectors and will keep calling, they call my work, send a cirt. letter to them to stop calling and if they  call gain you can sue them.

i got a voice mail message from 877-334-5288 saying i have a suit filed against me and my social security number. i am in a chapter 13 bankruptcy. should i call them an tell them, or not? Betty in Nashville, Tn.

So you paid them...Was everything alright after you paid them? let me know and is it off your credit......they might be legitimate.....

First ask for hard copies of all the information from the suit and check it out to make sure it's legit. If you do call them, don't give out any personal info that could be used against you. If it is legit, they should already have that kind of stuff from whichever of your debtors they're supposedly representing. And if it is legit, you should be getting things in the mail, like certified letters notifying you of upcoming judgments, etc., not just on the phone and through voice mail. Not a professional way to do business and that makes me think it's not legit. But be sure to check it out just in case.

They have called twice and left messages for someone with a different given name but same surname as my husband. They said this person was wanted as a person of interest in an important matter and that he needs to contact their office or decisions will be made without his input. No other clue as to what they want, and we have received nothing in the mail about such a thing, official looking or not.

I just got a call from this number stating that if i don't call them then action will be taken against me without my knowledge, which is weird because they didn't call my home they called my grandmother and I don't live with her. Was a recorded message and no names were given.

I recieved a call from the same number, they left a message and no names were given, nor did they say where they were calling from, curosity got to me so I called them back, they are debt collecters, they said that I did not call them back immediatley so they were taking action against me and they didn't have to notify me via mail, I told them that until I had documentation from them  saying that I failed to pay back a loan, I was not giving them any info, and besides if they were legit, they would alreay have all info that they needed, when I told them that, they said that all my info had been deleted excpect for my phone number and that they needed the information, I then said to them if my info was deleted then how did they know that I owed money? They could not answer so I hung up, 5 minutes later they called back and said they were not obligated to send me any info via mail, this is a scam and a bunch of crooked people.

i have gotten calls from these people for the past 2 weeks, i almost gave them my debit info until i asked for legal documents stating that they were legit. they told me they would send it within 10 mins i recieved it 3 days later, also when i got it - had the wrong last name, and also gave me all my info- refrence number from the loan and everything, are they scammers, what should i do?

IF YOU OWE A BILL YOU SHOULD PAY IT BUT IF YOU DON'T OWE THEN DON'T PAY IT. JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS CALLING ABOUT A DEBT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE A SCAM

Keeps calling for a person that does not and has never lived here. Would like for the  phone calls to stop.
