- AnneJust got a call from this number that I was unable to pick up. The number came up unknown so I Googled it and found your site. It was helpful and I know not to call back.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Thomas| 7 repliesThis was a courtesy call from T-Mobile to make sure my services were working well and to see if they could save me money. Smart move for a big company to apply small business values. I appreciate it.
- Caller: T-MObile
- SmoggyI don't like telemarketing calls, it's disturbing specially when I am working.

- holderwayI do not answer numbers I do not know. Mostly it is a scam, or it causes me to stop what I am doing. What a waste of time
- Call type: Telemarketer
- unkown| 7 repliesThis was a fraudulent call from someone claiming to be T-Mobile, seeking personal information, in order to lower the phone cost.

- DirtyDThis has to have been a fraudulent phone number. I've heard about this before. I missed the call, but I googled the number and find a lot of results dedicated to this being a dangerous number. Also, my phone number is not the primary - I shouldn't be receiving calls about the service.
- Caller: T-Mobile

- Richard replies to unkown| 5 repliesI don't like telemarketers but I talked to the gal because she sounded genuine. This was actually a very nice deal. They changed my plan to fit me better and gave me a discount on my bill and added a new line of service with a free T-Mobile version of the droid. I'm paying the same as I was and have more stuff. Answer it if they call you, it's worth it!
- BethaniThe guy who called me said he was going to change my phone plan to lower my bill. I didn't beleive him so I called the number back and got a sales department. They sent me to customer service who validated that this is legit and that they had changed my plan. This is T-Mobile.

- usagimy husband got three calls from this number in three hours! and then they called me so i just did a Google search and found this thanks for posting this i dont answer numbers i dont know and couldn't look it up in reverse look up ether. so it has to be a scam thing i thought t mobile was better than this..well im going to rethink my cellular service
- Matt InnisDon't know who this number is
- DaveThis IS actually T-Mobile, but it's their telemarketing dept. They try to sell you some "websticks", which are basically usb 3g sticks that allow you to connect to the net via their phone network. They have two plans which are kinda expensive ($25 and $39/mo). Kinda not useful for me, since I can simply activate the hotspot feature on my Nexus One and do the same thing for free with any PC/laptopn that has wifi.
They also tried to sell me a Dell netbook for $9 with a service plan. This looks like a better deal, but I already have a newish netbook. Maybe if they offer this again next year I might go for it.
Anyway, they're legitimate, but kinda slimy. Make sure you know what you're signing up for.- Caller: T-Mobile

- nonGot a call from this number, so I googled and found this site. The contract I signed up for is one of the unlimited text, minutes, etc. and part of the contract says that once I sign up for it, I can't change my plan until my contract is up; so, if it indeed is Tmobile, why would they be calling me give me a lower rate on a contract I can't change for 6 months? I often wonder if the people who post on here that it IS Tmoble are just part of the scammers who call trying to get your info...
- AndresI did call them back. Indeed is t-mobile and indeed trying to sell new plans (locking into contracts). You may be able to save money but look and ask very carefully. I prefer to do this on my own so I told no to the very, very nice girl who was on the line. Very polite for a sales call, they do know how to represent their company at least.

- Wastrel replies to unkownI didn't answer the call from this number, but since I had to call T-Mobile anyway, I asked them about it, after reading the conflicting stories here. Jennifer told me it is not T-Mobile calling; in fact, T-Mobile will not call you as a telemarketer would. If they do call (about a problem with your account, etc.), it would be from an 800 number. I suggested that T-Mobile do something about it, and she said they would.
- nope replies to Richardyeah, right
- william| 1 replyThis is a shady company...it's Spam!...do not answer there calls
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TMW replies to RichardNow that's it's been a few months, was it legit? Did you really get all the things they promised? I'm asking because I ignored the call, but I have a T-mobile phone & have been w/o a contract for a year because I don't like anything else out there.
