- Anonym| 10 repliesThis number is National Vehicle Protection Services. Seems like they have a ton of numbers, which they go through whenever a particular number gets too much attention.
Anyhow in a nutshell:
1) They claim you have an existing warranty through them which recently expired (obviously not true).
2) They ignore the donotcall list (by stating the above).
3) High pressure sales tactics.
4) Very rude, will laugh at you, and won't take no for an answer.
File a claim with the St. Louis BBB (via www.bbb.org) if you get a call from these guys.- Caller: National Vehicle Protection Services

- :] replies to Anonym| 9 repliesActually NVPS works with the best 6 admins in the nation, and they are a preferred broker. you do have an existing business relation ship if u purchased the warranty. they have two #'s one for sales, people who call from tv adds, radio adds and such. and one fore reinstatements.
- :] replies to mariamaybe you should have called them and let them know that, bc all policies are pro rata refundable and fully transferable, so ur bad for not calling them. you asked for the calls by providing ur number wen signing up for coverage
- BevThey keep calling and calling, told them I'm not interested and they're still calling 3-5 times per day.
- RalphThey won't stop calling me. Very rude on the phone. They lied about my car warranty expiring and tried to pressure me into buying another one. I looked them up and looks like the MO attorney general has already fined them for illigal sales practices but they still seem to do it. Please help put a stop to this. I've been getting 3 calls a day. 8773360715 X 1005 Steven/Stephen Hall.

- HappygirlNVPS keeps calling a number where I used to live. I returned the call. I spoke with Nick and Steve Hall - they are 2 of the most arrogant people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I kept repeating over and over that I did not want their services and they just talked over me. Pretty soon it was a yelling match between myself and Steve Hall because the idiot would not take no for an answer. He then informed me that "this call is being recorded" I said good, now go back and try to see where your sales pitch is not working! I understand the whole concept of I once had your services. But my contract was paid in full and has since expired. They need to work on their business ethics and leave people alone. It shouldn't need to be repeated over and over again.

- Robert E. BurnsNVPS called me claiming the the extended warranty had recently lapsed on my 2008 Ford F150. I tried repeatedly to explain to the lady on the phone that I was aware that my extended warranty was no longer effective and that I had in fact chosen NOT to renew it. Once she heard this she kept trying to continually interrupt me and explain to me why I needed an extended warranty on my truck. After several minutes of back and forth with her insisting that I was required to have an extended warranty service carrier, I basically told her that I was making a choice not to carry an extended warranty and that if my truck experienced a serious mechanical problem I would either chose to fix it with money out of my own pocket or sell it for scrap value and get another vehicle. After hearing this the lady who called me even tried to quote some random amount that was recently submitted as a claim for a repair to my truck just prior to the extended warranty expiring. (Extended Warranty expired a year ago) When I insisted to her that her information was fabricated and that no repairs over $200 had been preformed on my truck in over a year, she went back into her speech about an extended warranty being required for all vehicle owners just as healthcare insurance is a current day requirement for everyone. When I informed her that she needed to get here facts straight before trying to debate a point. I informed her that there are currently millions of uninsured Americans. That in fact healthcare insurance is not required, hospitals are bound by federal law to treat anyone who shows up seeking medical attention irregardless if they have insurance or not. Furthermore, the federal tax dollars that I pay in fact go toward helping pay for the healthcare of the uninsured.
After several minutes of my insisting that I was not going to sign up for their service and that I refused to continue the extended warranty service on my 2008 F-150, I informed this lady that I was requesting that her company never call me or any member of my extended family again.- Caller: National Vehicle Protection Services

- UraLiar replies to :]| 7 repliesActually, " :] "-- you're a scammer. The warranties are not held or indemnified by NVPS, in any way, shape, or form. NVPS is a leech company, buying and phishing contact information of warranty holders, publicly registered by states and national companies, where the law requires such information to be part of their public records. It's an absolute lie, in the legal sense, to infer that a 'relationship' exists between NVPS and anyone that purchased a vehicle warranty through the manufacturer, or to imply the owner has an 'existing' warranty with NVPS. So, stop lying, and stop trying to present this company as legitimate; it's not. May your fortunes be small, and your time in prison, long.
