They called my cell, I did not answer. It was unknown.

So it was Mathis Bros. wanting you to come give blood. However, sponsored by KOCO TV with whom I registered my number for severe weather alerts. Not right

Virtually any call that says "Toll Free Caller" I treat as spam, as I did this one.

It was ok blood institute. Message left was a woman telling me her kid has had multiple blood transfusions and is in dying need of blood. That is bad business obi!! Do not try and guilt trip me into your services just because I don't answer your phone calls!!!!! Shame on you OBI!!!!

I have been giving blood since I was 18 years old. I am 56 now. I come in and donate every chance I get. Please do not call me and remind me anymore!

Call OBI and advise them that they had a representative leaving this kind of message on your cell phone.  They should only be stating their name, and the name of the person they are calling.  They should then Thank you for donating blood, and advise they are in need of your blood type, and ask you to call them back.

If you login to the Oklahoma Blood Institute website, you can set your phone number to never call.

I have no idea how these people have my number. I used to live in Oklahoma but I no longer have an Oklahoma phone number. Weird.

I'm sick of these calls

My Doctor has advised me not to give blood anymore because I am anemic afterwards, so PLEASE take my name off your list.....I have requested this SEVERAL times

I have never had any contact with these people EVER. And now they're calling to try to get blood donors???!! Some people cannot donate due to health reasons, such as anaemia. STOP calling me. You are BLOCKED.

This is actually a legitimate call. Some people have suggested they don't need to be called. Have you talked to the person who calls you to let them know you would prefer they didn't? I'm finding it hard to believe that people contacting regular blood donors would harass you.

The call I received was for Coffee Memorial Blood Center (Amarillo) that serves the panhandles. Got my appointment set up, and I'll be donating that morning before I head out to have myself a wonderful barbecue lunch.

I appreciate the call. But it is NOT a scam, and no one is going out of their way to offend anyone else.

Yes, it's the Blood Institute. They blow my phone up DAILY. I've started having to block their calls because they call so much. It interferes with my job. And every time I block a number they come up with another number.
I don't mind donating blood, and when they have their mobile setup in the area I always go. But they sure make you regret giving them your phone number.

Recorded call stated he was "Josh" from the OKC Thunder...that's when I hung up and blocked the call.
