This number calls me a couple times a day and when I answer, it hangs up. I don't answer unknown call but it called me so much that I decided to answer this one. I called it back and it was either some stupid recording. or it said the number was unavailable. Its pissing me off.

Received up to 4 calls per day from this number.  Tonight a lady answered when I said hello, claimed to be with BRI representing RBC/Visa, and wanted to sell me identity/information insurance for my cell phone, internet use, etc, etc, etc.  Said she would send me a info package, and if I didn't cancel they would 'bill' my credit card...  but first she wanted to 'confirm' my information.  Told her that I wasn't interested and put me on the DNC list.  Soon as I hung up, called RBC to confirm that they were selling (or hired someone to sell) this insurance.  RBC said no, definitely not, and BRI does not represent RBC.  Lodged a formal complaint with RBC regarding BRI.  Maybe RBC can do something with these people.

Annoying 1-877-343-3683 calls me 3-4 times a day on my cellular phone and I'm on the National Do Not Call List since 2008.

I get this call 3 -4 times a day I try to pick it up but I never get anything when I do I am going to see if I can get them blocked from calling me from "Mike" as I dont like to use the minutes I have on that BS.

This number calls 2-3 times every day, anybody figured out how to stop it?

This number called, some lady asking for "Katie Lang", I replied wrong number and started to hang up, and heard the lady on the other end say "Sorry *pause* Can I speak to Katie Lang?"

Which makes it sound like some kind of recording that even has the "sorry" in it.

Very broken phone call, 5-10 secs of silence before the lady/reocording said anything, too.

It's not RBC.

The same company is using this phone numbers as well 1-877-260-8744 they call my house two to three times a day.  I called back in the recording said it was BRI working on behalf of financial and insurance institutions.  As far as I am concerned that as a third-party telemarketer and nation have access to anybody's information financial or insurance wise.

It is most likely RBC calling to sell you insurance on a credit card.  Do you have one with them?

These guys call me everyday, and they ask for me by name! Haven't tried calling back yet!

Call received on my cell phone (unlisted), didn't answer because I'm at work, no message left. I'm also on the DNC list, which seems more like the 'please call me' list now, as the volume of telemarketing calls has at least tripled since I went on the list. >:(

After weeks of ignorning this number, my husband finally picked it up.  He didn't say anything and after ten seconds, someone said "Hello?"  Then they asked for me.  So I took the call.  What it is is BRI who does credit reporting for RBC Visa customers - it's a service called Credit Protector where they monitor your credit report with Equifax and Transunion and send you a report every three months.  Costs $17.99+tax a month.  But here's the kicker: you have the 30-day free trial in which they send you a FREE credit report.  So once I get the report, I'm cancelling the service - free report for me!  Also, the girl on the phone was very nice to talk to.  I hope that this will stop the phone calls.

you may friend just got identity theft, BRI doesnt represendt RBC if you look up in the posts someone called RBC to confirm and they said there is absolutly no relation to BRI haha

Same story as with Prarieboy. We don't have long distance so we are not being billed. But they call us every day and neither talk nor leave message. Why? What is their problem?

This number has called me everyday for the last week and i have never answered because i figured they would leave a message. I finally answered today and it hung up!

This number calls me all the time. I called them and dialed 1 to have my number removed from their list, I wonder if it'll work...
