- John| 1 replyVoice mail from a person named Steve. Caller said only that he was calling about our timeshare at Orange Beach, AL and to please call him immediatley. We do have a timeshare but have never gotten any calls from the company we buy from but have received numerous calls from Buy and Sell Timeshares, a company that sells these for people.

- Cindy| 18 repliesReceived call giving 877-355-6698 as callback # for Creative Home Mtg. saying they ALREADY have a buyer for our timeshare in Branson at about 3 times what we originally paid for it. They say they received the information from Global Timeshare Solutions. My callers name was Jay Bernard and he gave an alternate # to call of 1-954-513-7838. He even went so far as to say the would deduct our annual maintenance fee from his $999. processing fee, but of course the processing fee would immediately be charged to my major credit card, if I gaven them the #. A friend and coworker of mine received the same call this week from a woman and her callback # is the same. She says the name of her company is Universal Marketing Solutions and Creative Home Mortgage. She said that she already had a buyer, but the price was about $2,000. less than what Bernard told me and the processing fee was $1300.

- Snett| 21 repliesI Received a call from Creative Home Mortgage solutions. She said they have a buyer for my timeshare. They gave their #877-355-6698 and 561-201-3990. They say they had received my name from Global Timeshare, who we did list our time share to be sold with. The lady "Nikki" says she needs $1396.24 for closing costs from one of my credit cards.
anyone have any clue who these characters are, or how we shut them down?? - Tropical_Barbie replies to SnettI've heard of this company... my aunty said she has had a good experience with them. They don't have any major complaints with the BBB. So... good luck. It's really hard to sell a timeshare now days with the economy being what it is. Hope you are looking forward to a change come this election. I know I am. Support change vote Obama.

PS: Sorry had to throw in my Obama support where and whenever I can. LOL! - Denise D. replies to Cindy| 12 repliesI recieved a call this morning from a man saying he was from Universal Marketing (he didn't say "Solutions" part of the name). He said he would have a rep call me with more info and offers for my time share in Orlando.
The rep named Don Meyers called me back and offered me 3 times what I paid for it. He said I would have to pay $1,395.00 for a lein and title search that I would get back at closing if they sold it and refunded if the time share had problems with the current mortgage. I wanted to look up to see if this company was legitimate. I found all these postings about the company and now I am definitely not going to anything. Thanks. I am going to call the Better Business Bureau of Florida too. Anyone else should do the same and find out about the company first. - Denise D. replies to Denise D.Oh and the phone numbers they called from were (561) 713-2646, (561) 713-2657 from Universal Marketing / Creative Home Mortgages
- gottook| 6 repliesI paid my $1396. on June 9, 2008 after speaking directly to the owner of Universal Marketing Solutions. I didn't hear from them for 114 days regarding the contract they supposedly had on my timeshare. I started calling them with no results. I faxed them letters demanding a refund and got callbacks denying a refund.
I received many solicitation calls from this company even though I have been on the National Do Not Call Registry for 4 years. If you are on the list, keep records of the name, number and time of the call. I've filed complaints with the BBB, AG, Div of Consumer Affairs, the Delray Beach City Attorney, the FCC and have posted my story online. They have an "F" rating with BBB and over 30 complaints. The AG office has received over 40 complaints. I don't know about the "auntie" that had a good result but if they've sold any timeshares I would like to hear about it. Jennifer Kirk and Matthew Hicks also own Creative Home Mortgage and Fidelity First Title and Escrow. They are all operating out of the same building in Delray Beach, FL. Almost all timeshare resale telemarketers who ask for money upfront are fraudulent. The AG of Florida has several of them under investigation at the present time. I gottook, so be very careful.- Caller: Universal Marketing Solutions

- Josh HughesJust called today from Dave with Universal Marketing/Creative Home Mortgage gave call back number 561-339-6225 and called from 561-242-0777. Told me they had a pre-approved buyer. He also stated that buyers had put up a $2000 non-refundable fee and wanted $999.00 from me. I did not buy in I am checking them out first. Problem is they want to close in 30-60 days. Many red flags.

- Farrell replies to Denise D.| 8 repliesMr. Meyers just called me also and done the same thing. He even played the BBB report for me sayin they are a great class A company, however with further research I still don't believe they can do what they say they can. He only wanted 1198.50 for my lien and title search. I cancelled my credit card and am not going to do business with them simply because they work under to many names and I don't know who they are.
- Curtis replies to gottook| 1 replyMy mom got took as well in Dec. of 2007. Is there anything we can do? Very angry.
ctcexpress@msn.com - Jeff| 2 repliesI was just called and told that they had a buyer for my timeshare for $21,300 which is well over double what I paid for it. They also wanted the $1396 fee up front and won't send me a contract until I pay first. Sounds fishy to me. I was hoping that there might be some more people out there with more info.

- Heather replies to Cindy| 1 replyI am getting the same calls and would like to sell me timeshare but all of these posts don't tell me if you did it or not and what is the outcome.
- Heather replies to Snett| 1 replyHey they are calling me too, but I don't know if they really have a buyer or not. Have all of these people done this? What was the outcome?
- Heather replies to CurtisWhat happend?
- HeatherI am getting calls from Creative Home Financial or Creative Home Mortgage Solutions, Inc. They say they have many pre-approved buyers and need a payment of 1300.00 which they now lowered to 999.00. This covers the title etc.. They faxed me a contract and a BBB report of thier company. I almost did this because they would buy it for 3 times as much as what we paid for it.

- Karin Burmeister replies to Cindy| 1 replyWe've had a similar experience. He charged us $1598 and we are trying to contest the call. Everything about him was fishy, but he said he had a buyer for our time share and we'd sure love to unload it. Would love to know what my/legal rights are and if his business is legit! THanks for sharing your information.
