Its from a collection agency.

Got a call Saturday,May 7, 2011 in the morning around 9:30 AM from 877-363-9554.
the caller didn't leave a message on my answering machine and I have Caller ID to ID the callers. ID read "TOLL FREE CALL 877-363-9554".

Ho do you know that? I called 1-877-363-9554 back and got a message saying "Your call is important to us, please stay on the line and a representative  will get back to you shortly". Then I was on hold for a while and I hung up! There was no ID who these jerks are.

I bet it was a telemarketer more than likely because I got called on Saturday morning. I know scumbag collection agencies don't call on weekends, if they do then they are real scumbags!

i received the call at 11am on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 877-363-9554. The call was from an agency to help with college education. i was asked if i was enrolled or signed up for college/college courses i said yes and then i was asked if i wanted to transfer next semester and said no then the lady said, "Ok well it seems like you're all set up, thank you."

Yes it is for education..thats because somewhere we filled out something for school. At least its not a debt collector, they are hatefull. At least sales people earn a living, believe me when I tell you I have done that type of work, it's not fun. So if you get a chance to talk to them..be nice..at least they are not taking money out of your wages to be on welfare.They are actually making an honest living. :)

This number is calling multiple times a day. Called it back and it claims to be a Degree Counseling. I am getting hit with 10 - 15 calls a day from supposedly colleges & universities and now Degree Counseling. The number they are calling is on the DO NOT CALL list and yet they keep calling..... complete disregard for the law!!! And the colleges claim they received a request for information... I think it's a scam!!! Don't give these people any information about yourself!!!

I've gotten a call from these people twice a day fot the past week and a half one in the morning and one in the afternoon, no message or anything......So annoying

I have no debt, so i know its not a debt collector. I tried to call and get a message saying "please wait ont he line for the next available operator" and after a while it says "goodbye" and hangs up. I have been getting calls from them for days and they either don't leave a message, or the couple times i did pick up, they hang up without saying anything.

Left no message. I did fill out my info while looking for a college online...

Got a call from this #, no message left. I called back and got the recording: "your call is important to us" repeatedly, I hung up.

Just got a call from these turd burgers...My best guess is Ameriloan as I will get a call from Ameriloan and within 5-10 minutes, I get a call from 1866-363-9554. Let them call...don't wanna leave a VM, I'm not calling ya back!

They call every other day asking for Marie hicks,  i say wrong number.  They reply oh maybe you can help me and starts their sells pitch.  I have asked  to be taken off these lists four times.

It is not a collection agency - call them back tell them to stop calling and that you have reported this to the atty generals office from your state and the next call will be to your atty.... this is crap...  its a debt consolidation number...

Got called this morning and he asked to verify my email, which he already had and read to me, it was correct, told him it was wrong and not to call or send me anything, he backed off very fast and hung up.

I get calls all the time that I do NOT want.  its starting to freak me out.  I've been getting calls from the caribbean, this toll free number (apparently) and other numbers that obviously have my number from somewhere!  ahhhhhh!  =(

Person said they were a online educatonal advisor. Fourth different number that has called. The first three tried 4 times and on the fifth I talked to each of them. All calls for online education. Said I filled out a survey requesting more information. I did not. I had filled out an online job application with a local company two days prior to the first phone calls starting. They use a company out of Utah called Job Match who runs iApplicants employee matching software. My guess is that Job Match uses the information and sells it to telemarketers. Not one of them could tell me the website I filled out this supposed request from. Tell them not interested. On the Do Not Call list and I did not fill out any information. Most say they are sorry but I figure it doesn't mean much in this messed up society we have today. Apparently the FCC rules don't mean anything. The government could shut them down and save money.
