file a complaint with  FCC is the only way to stop.

it is a ZIPWEB scam. they target businesses and offer free listings on google and yahoo for a month. they ask to speak with the owner to "verify" information. record you saying "yes" and the next month you get an unauthorized charge on your phone bill....BEWARE
i have had 2 calls from the same exact number, different callers, stating they are with different companies. the first one was bernard with "Nashville H Book"??? The second was tyler with businessesinternet.net. other #'s are 887-366-2948 ZIPWEB dana/donna 877-366-2829 access local/alan gonzalez. DO NOT SAY YES TO ANYTHING>>>

I have gotten several calls as well. They say that they want to verify your listing and then put charges on your phone bill. Hang up as soon as they say to verify your listing. The number that came up on caller ID was 877-366-2950.

Another company similar to this one called Search Marketing did the same thing to me a few months back, they actually said that they were from AT&T and stated that my phone bill wouldn't change at all. They then added charges to my phone bill that more than doubled it. I called and complained that they said that nothing would change on my phone bill. They played back a recording that was me agreeing to the charges, but was not the conversation I had with them. I was able to get the charge removed after much hassel and wasted time. The best thing to do is to have AT&T block your account from unauthorized charges.

They call and I said Hello 3 times. Then he said [***] and hung up

Just again received a call from this number.  I find all calls that ask for the owner or manager of a business to be very rude and annoying.

They call all the time and ask to put you on a web listing.  Sometimes they call 3-4 times per day.  How can I get them to stop??? I've asked them to remove my business name?? 877-366-2950

They call me constantly and try to trick me into authorizing charges on my phone bill. They say they just want to record you verifying your information but they slip in that you are authorizing a change to your phone bill. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

I answer calls from this number on a regular basis on the main phone line at Pearson, where I am the front-desk person.  There is never a reply to my greeting, just a fuzzy hang up.  When I called the number, I get a message saying it cannot accept calls now as it is on hold and not yet activated.  This is VERY annoying and wastes my work time.  Please stop these calls.

they called me 5 to 10 times every-week.

Because of the lag, I know it is a robo-call so I toy with them. They can hear my radio in the background and I make them say hello? at least three times before I reply.  Then I give them one word answers, usually NO, when they ask if they can speak to the manager or NEVER when they ask when will it be convenient? Alternatively you can say "let me get him for you", put them on hold and frequently check back to see how long it takes them to figure out you're messing with them.

They didn't have a connection and I hung up. How can I get them to STOP!?

This time when I called back the phone just rang and rang and rang.  STOP CALLING!!!
