Political phone call, based on the message on my "machine".  Needless to say, the number is now blocked.

i never asked for political calls - i want this number told to stop calling me.  I only get an answering machine when i call.

Received a political call against a Democrat running in MI for 57th District State Representative seat. Telephone recording says "you have reached voter research, thank you" and nothing else. I'm contacting state election board to find legality of this, as they do nothing to identify the political group sending the robot calls. Hopefully the telephone carrier will be required to give up the person/group paying the bill.

Stupid political robo-call.  Amazing how much money politicians spend to convince me how much other politicians spend.

We keep getting these unsolicited political phone calls.   How do we block this number?

Received an automated political call. We are on the federal and state "do not call list", and since this is not a charity, they should not be calling our number.

Politicians are allowed to call you even if you are on the Do Not Call list. I am on it myself, and got a call from this number.

I work in the telecommunications industry, so I have learned some of the rules about this.

Left a voice mail. A political message about a bad opponent.
I deleted it before the sentence was completed.

Do not call registry or not, these people figure,
what are you going to do...sue me.
Try finding a lawyer to pursue your complaint.

Repeated robocalls against Democratic Party candidates. Cowards do not identify themselves, but I'm going to give demerits to both the GOP and the TEA party types.

I have been received unacknowledged political hate calls from this and other numbers for three weeks now. I want the persons responsible prosecuted for violations of the election laws and for making harassing calls. These are crimes and they must be punished.

they don't say any thig when I asnwer the phone  when I call back a recording says these are your options, repeats three times and disconects

Dead air to my cell phone. Joy. I guess they figure that since I didn't want the call anyway, they might as well not bother talking.

This was a political call as Jerry West endorsing Joe Manchin for Senate. Didn't reall mind that one so much as the one where Sarah Palin starts talking - she sounds like a million nails on a chalkboard.

I have received 3 calls in less than one hour.  Very annoying!!  After reading here that it is a political call, I answered the most recent call.  They would not leave a message on the first two calls.
This is indeed a political robo call from Matt Osman, current Assistant DA in Mecklenburg Co. in North Carolina, who is running for District Court Judge.
If you can vote for this particular office, vote for anyone BUT this guy.  His repeated calls may be legal (exempt from Do Not Call) but there are other ways to address this.
