I recieved this call without any name to it and would like to know who called.

The number you post, 1-877-370-9229 belongs to "Safe-Cart", an on-line service that sells (or at least supposedly sells) such things as driver up-dates for your computer. I purchased their service to remedy a printer problem, but was unsucessful at downloading the up-dates. Calls to their service center, which is the same as the number you provided, reach a repeated and contant busy signal. I haven't given up yet, but am becoming suspicious as to the legitimacy of the company (www.safecart.com), as in reviewing their website, I have noticed a few typos and related issues that usually are indicative of a foriegn entity. I think that I purchased driver updates but received no confirmation from this company.  I am sure that nothing was installed because I had to have my computer serviced and never received any merchandise or services.  What can I do to have this item removed from my charge card?

I received this number , it was on my credit card statement, showing I had been charged $39.94  for anti-virus protection on my computer.  I have been unable to get any service from Reg  Cure. Contact your card issuer, tell them it's fraud, get the money returned, and get a replacement card because your card is now in hostile hands.

Hi There Like Judy 03/11/2010 I also noticed that I had been charged an amount of money and It was annotated as Safecart 8773709229, I found the Web-Site (https://www.safecart.com/purchase-lookup/) and applied my Name, Post Code and last 4 digits of my Debit card and my so called order was shown, I had previously bought software from ParetoLogic (Reg-Cure and Privicy Settings). I however did not knowingly Authorise  ParetoLogic to take payment on an annual basis, and therefore Contacted my bank to cancel my Debit Card and send a replacement. This will hopefully stop them doing this again. Hope this helps

First change that credit card get rid of it then you can chase them up as much as you like!

This is a company called Safe-Cart who sell software, however they list an office in Victoria Canada, and in the USA, I have a friend who lives near Vicotria and asked her to check them out, they are not listed in the phone register and their supposed office is a private residence, be carefull I beleive this is a scam.

I am going to Victoria soon and will check this out myself, and if I find it is a rogue company I will report them to the RCMP, and the fraud squad in the UK.

I am experiencing the same problems.  They say they are experiencing heavy volume so I have been on hold for a long time. The drivers I purchased I could not downloan and make work.  I sent an email requesting information and sent a note that I wanted to cancel my order and have not heard from them ---yet.  Like you I don't want to give up.  Did you ever receive any satisfaction?  I did a search on the 877 phone number and is is located in British Columbia in the Namimo area to "Safe-Cart".

In the end of 2010 I bought something from Pareto Logic.
Now, I got two bills in my credit card (23,96GBP and 8,12GBP)) related to a supposed software buy.

Then I called the credicard company: They cancelled the card and issued a refund for the company that wrongly billed me.

That phone number was writen in the credit card bill.

Vous m'avez facturé très rapidement le logiciel  et de plus vous me l'avez facturé 2 fois (1 fois le 11/02/2012 et 1 autre fois le 13/02/2012) alors que je n'ai jamais pu obtenir la clé pour obtenir le service demandé. Ne pouvant réussir j'ai annulé ma demande.
Si vous me demandez de payer  et acceptez mon règlement donnez moi le résultat promis.

Bought some software 'PCHelper 360' for my computer.
it downloaded and installed absolutely fine and registered no problem but unfortunately did not fix my problem.
rang the contact number in the UK and they directed me to this number in the US.

was on hold for approximately 5 mins and then speaking to a person for about 4 minutes, got a full refund and everything cancelled there and then. and my paypal credit refunded.

after I payed the money for ort imizer Pro  and register  I did not get the lince for it
