I got a call from them and they said there name was capital arbtration group and need to talk to me about check fradit and will subpoena me or something. I believe its a scam. What did they say to you?

We got a call from them also. I don't even use checks! Have you guys heard anything back from them?

It's a two bit collection agency using illegal tactics. They can't do a single thing they say they will do i.e. file check fraud charges or whatever. It's actually quite laughable.

They collect for cash money lenders which is already a bottom of the barrel business. Ignore them, there's absolutely NOTHING they can do, the law is not on their side so they try to scare people into paying them. Just laugh in their face.

I got a call from this outfit today. They were looking for my daughter, claiming she's in default on a payday loan, and said they're preparing a summons.  Total baloney!! She has never taken out a payday loan. I called back again and said I know they're running a scam and we're reporting them to the MN Attorney General's office, and we better NEVER hear from them again.

These people are the absolute worse. They are trying to collect on false debts and their General Manger is total [***]. I asked him to send me the stuff in writing and he said he doesn't have to send me anything. So I told him to take me to court then. Let's see what comes of this.

its a company called Capital Arbritation they just called me left a message stating "they got a returned item from a bank that requires my immediate attention it would be in my best interest to have myself or my council call their office to discuss voluntarily resolution of this matter" and left their phone# stating they expect a return phone call. I hope their holding their breath? I'm not calling back! I don't scare so easily.

These are absolutely scammers. This is not the first time we have received these calls. Don't pay them anything. They are not real. There is no court paperwork or debts owed!!

They called me saying i have a check returned. I dont even write checks. They also used my middle name and my maiden name.  I am not calling them back.

I don't ever use checks and they called me saying that I have a fraudlent check and I need to call immediately! They also said they would be delivering a summons to my home and work and other people would be subpeona on my behalf. I have called and left a vm and no one has returned my calls. They sounded scarey and ligit... If they don't call back then I guess we all know....

They told me the same thing! When I asked for something in writing about the debt I was told they didn't have to provide that because it has been so long since I defaulted on the supposed payday loan. They demanded I make a payment agreement with them immediatly. They said the call was my legal notification and that they were going to investigate me and my friends mother for check fraud. The claim they will take legal action on the SSN and birthdate belonging to me.

Yes, they called me this morning and now they are calling family members. I don't owe on any loan from 2009, all of my debts are paid. My father works for the FBI, he is contacting the Attorney General's office and other agencies regarding this firm. They are total scum, I just hate receiving calls from family members that they are being harassed. It is embarrassing. They will not forward any documentation. Hard to ignore when you receive phone calls all day. My Monday was ruined.

my sister got a call from this company saying they had a case fraud 324-923 saying they where in process of filling criminal charges against me they  also called me back in January telling me same thing . I checked Kansas city Missouri circuit court nothing on file when I called them back because they said if I i got a money gram they would deduct an amount  and i could pay off bill so t i had a friend call them and they said since my friend called them and was rude deal was off then they hung up scam

now they are contacting my sister from a 407 area code here in florida but the same check fraud with case number I have not responded and told my sister to add her number to no call list first of all if you commit check fraud a warrant would be issued and the police not a collection agency if that what this is would not be contacting you report them

Also recieved a voice mail from Capital Aberatration Group stating there was a fraud case filed in Weld County Court and they would be serving me at my home and or job along with other people in my family.  Called number back that was left on voice mail 1-877-373-6519 Ext 305 Case number 323212.  No one ansewed went straight to a audiomated voice mail.  These people are relentless and clearly being very unethical.

Same thing just happened to me regarding my daughter.  We are in Texas.  Problem is... my daughter does do questionable things sometimes.  This is so worrisome.  I just texted her the information.
