alas - I too am a victim of these calls

I just found out it is a collection agency called Allied Interstate. Someone we know gave them our phone number.

I have received quite a few calls from this number. They also called my mother, asking for my husband. I can't figure out how that happened.
I called the number back from my cell phone, and they refused to identify the company.
I called back from my home phone, and they identified themselves as an "Allied-something".
I can't get any answers about who they are, but they call a couple of times a day, while I am at work...it is on caller ID every afternoon.

They call me several times a day,15 minutes apart, starting every morning around 9:30 am until about 3:00 pm... all day everyday I've reported it posting it put myself on the no call list but still and its almost a yr now

They call every morning & the guy says he's trying to reach me since last yr. about a debt supposedly....when I ask what is the original debt, he says you should know the original debt.
What is your company? He says Leading Edge.
This morning I called the number back after they called me at 8 a.m. & the women said - Allied Interstate & her name is Toni Hawk (Hawking out my $$$) & she's from Asia & when I asked her who she's looking for - she made up a name - Barbara Ehrhardt (spelling?) - when I told her that a guy called from your # & didn't know my original debt. she acted scared & I told her you committing fraud - she said - We are following ALL federal guide lines --- I said Maybe you think you are but your Company isn't - at the phone company is right now investigating you & so is the FTC.
That's when she said she would remove me from the list ----but couldn't remember my # it was gone form the computer but I wouldn't give it back to her - then she repeated my last 4 digits & I told her she was correct.
I'm am sick of these calls!!!!!!!!

They call me everytime. one time in the morning and one in the evening. How could they have gotten my number? I have no debts of any kind and I'm not even 18 yet. What do they want? Why don't they just leave a message?

I have received calls from this no. many times a day and have never answered the phone.  I decided to call this no. and see if they answered.  They answered Allied something.  They asked me for my number to look up my account and wanted to know how long I had had this no. They were looking for someone named Patricia Stevens.  They said they were sorry for the calls and would stop calling.  As soon as I hung up the phone, it rang and was the same person I just talked to.  They asked to speak to Patricia Stevens.  Again, I told them to stop calling me.  I feel sure the calls will continue.

I am being repeatedly called by this number.  I have reported it to the Ohio Do Not Call Registry, which is a JOKE.  Some foreign guy asked for someone named "Ken West" which is not my name and is no one I ever heard of.

This is another call from Allied Interstate, a collection agency with numerous malpractice suits. Same phone number, they use different area codes. I don't owe anybody.

They will call my landline every 5 minutes and hang up. then they call my cell with a "Private" number. They say I owe money? I asked them to send verification and they declined. They also wanted me to give them my checking info. NO! they also said that they do not take checks or money orders.
What a scam!!

They keep calling my home.  When we answer they hang up.  When I call them back they seem to be closed.  They are also calling me on Sundays around 8-830pm.

They say they are attempting to collect a debt and then attempt to get your credit card information. They called my husband and tried scam him... when he pushed them for information, they said it was in regards to his cell phone account being in collections... We have zero delinquent accounts and don't own a cell phone- nice try, [***]. They still call us 10 times a day though.

I called them back.  Someone answered, but didn't speak.  I waited, hung up and another person answered saying, "Hello", and when I didn't respond, they identified the company as "Allied something."  A legitimate company would have answered the phone with the company name the first time.

They call here every 15 minutes too. When I answer they just ask for the last name.  I ask what this in reference to and they just say it is a debt collection company. They just ask for someone with my last name. Then, they never leave a message when I don't answer.  I know I don't have outstanding debt, but there are a lot of people with the last name and I will not give them any information.  Wow!!!

I called this number back, told them about the many complaints on the website, the fact that they won't quit calling. The lady I talked to assured me that my own number was removed. The company is Allied Interstate, and they were looking for someone I never heard of.
