UCB collection agency. collectors have accents. don't give personal information. always ask them and ask them to send you proof of the collection along with the information and statement of where the debt comes from. if they cannot give you their company name, phone number, employee number and this extra information, don't talk to them. never give out personal information. never agree to any over the phone, if you can, even avoid saying the words 'yes' or 'ok' and leave them out of your conversation. you never know if its real or a scam unless YOU investigate first. if they don't like your questions, send them a certified cease and desist letter to stop calling.
