These people are calling me frequently, leaving messages that it's urgent I call them. "At this point, it's urgent we hear from you" etc.  Never a mention of what it's about. My curiosity finally kicked in so I called back from another phone after hours and the message answered "CRA." I assume this is some scam or "credit reporting agency" comes to mind. I don't owe anyone any money. Anyone hear from these clowns or know anything about them?

I received a similar call today. I called the number and was put on hold.  I hung up and called again , some one answered the phone and didn't say anything for a while I hung up.  I don't know what this about.

I recently reported my debit card as being used fraudulently. Within 2 hours of reporting my card fraudulently used someone called by the name of Carly Blackwell called my mother and requested I call this number. The number they were calling from, also listed in 800 notes website is 757-336-8065.  There are pages of comments about this number.

Got this message on my phone. Claiming my paperwork needs adjusting. WHAT PAPERWORK! I haven't filled out anything at least not in the last 6 months. This is a total scam.

Just got a vm at WORK from this number requesting an urgent call back.  I called back, they ask for one of my co-workers?!?  I said that the message was left for me, then they gave me my name and last 4.  She claimed this was regarding a 1099, then it was regarding a bank loan, and after I shot those two doen, she cliamed I was eligible for a tax credit.  UH HUH.  I asked her to remove my info from their list.

I had a vm left on my work phone a Donna Carter said
"I have an urgent matter I need to speak with you about 877-394-0388."
When I received this vm June 3rd I knew something wasn't right so I starting this # out and so many people had receivedit to. But this isn't the first time I have received calls like this.

Just received a call at home my daughter answered the phone and the same Donna Carter claimed that she received my paperwork about my SS# and started asking my daughter where I worked and what was my cell phone number. Tell all your kids not to talk to anyone and answer any questions if it isn't mommy or daddy. Luckily me daughter was smart enough not to say anthing.

i called these ppl and they wouldn't tell me who they were when i asked the hung up

This is a legit debt collector... check with your AG office. They helped me pay off a recent bill that I actually had a judgment against me. They were very pleasant to work with.

I have no idea why keep receiving calls from 1-877-394-0388.  I do not owe anyone anything!  My 82 year old parents are now getting calls from a Amber Leslie from the same number stating that it is urgent I get in touch with them but will not disclose what it is regarding.  I think it is some sort of a scam and people should be careful when they see the number.

Received a call from 1-877-394-0388 from Lois.  I thought she said "a christian from the office of CRA" I couldn't really hear but thought that's what she said...saying it was absolutely urgent that I call them immediately about a situation I might not be aware of...I have no Idea who these people are or what they want...I am seriously angry with having received this call...

A lady stating her name was Mrs. Merrill called, asked for me specifically, and pronounced my name correctly (which is scary, because I have a rare and classically hard-to-pronounce name), saying that "at this point we need you or whoever is representing you to give us a call back immediately." As a rule of thumb, I never call anyone back who doesn't identify the entity they work with or for.  I wonder who the hell they are though and if it is related to some of the recent security breaches on PS3's and/or teachers in the State of Texas.

I received a call for my daughter from 1-864-569-0178 and D.Bowling was the name on Caller ID. They left a message in a threaten manner: "saying that "We need you or whoever is representing you to give us a call back immediately....1-877-394-0388.

Got a call from them saying they needed to speak with a Beverly Hiines - who is not at the phone they called.  When called and asked WHO they were - they got very defensive and said that we didn't need to know that information and it was none of our business.  They said they would remove the number - but this is the SECOND TIME they called.

If they call, i recommend to NOT call them back and do not give them any information.  THey do not disclose who they are, what they want or why they are calling.  If they are legitimate they would answer some basic questions.

My sister got this call asking for me....I don't live with her and don't know who they are...

Someone called named Ellie and was a total [***].  She was looking for someone who lived here in the past.  Then hung up as soon as I said I wasn't the person they were looking for.  I assume they are debt collectors.  I called back and talked to Michelle DaSilva and she was a total [***] also.  I got part of the name of the company which ends in "Recovery"

This is a number that calls people who don't even owe debt. They keep insisting you are the person they need to talk to even though that person has used a phone number that does not belong to them.

received a message from Mrs. Kay Singer that it was important to call 877-394-0388 because there was an issue on 3-813053 that needed immediate attention.  I do not know the company and my telepone number is unlisted why would they be calling me.
