Ha! These guys tried to sell me updated State of California and Oregon Compliance posters....For $119 each. When I told them that I get from my Safety Supply company for $9 each (and they're laminated) he had a cow and told me that I have been lied to and they were not the right ones. They were right BTW.
Plus he was going to ship them to me UPS for an additional charge.  
Ahhh Capitalism at it's finest.

Called up and asked to speak to our "safety coordinator" about OSHA compliance. I hung up.

Went into my voice mail, but there was no message...only some background noise

Telemarketer called interrupting me before I could even answer with our company name saying all rushed and lots of background noise "Yes is this, Company Name?" I replied it was, already irritated. "Ah, I need to speak to the owner or manager of the company right away" (like it was actually important - and if it was you would know their name, right?) I told telemrktr he wasn't available and offered to take a message - he provided his name, Robert Cook, and said it had to do with OSHA compliance, their company was Safety Services or something and needed to speak with the owner or manager of the company about our safety documentation. Yeah, right. Actually, Mr. Cook needs better training because neither the manager nor the owner handles the safety documentation for our company - I do - but I didn't tell HIM that, lol... ;) Maybe he should just start asking for the person in charge safety.....

"Jordan" From safety services...Knew the owners name to the business and wanted to update him on the "safety services updates." Scammer call??

The number shows up as "Toll Free" on caller ID (Automatic Flag) They informed me that we were not in compliance with the 2012 OSHA Compliance Standards which we know is not true because our worker's compensation company provides an inspection once a year and updates our posters, etc. I always ask what the call is in regards to because our owner's do not take "Cold Calls" and he hesitated and said I am with Safety Services and I need to speak with the owner regarding his noncompliance with OSHA Standards. I told him that we had someone locally handle all of our safety and compliance in which he informed me I needed to give him that information to which I told him that we do not give information our on our vendors, employees or customers. He hung up. These guys are scammers. Word of Advise from the wisdom of someone it's happened to. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NAME. They will send the information out to your attention and Charge the company an outrageous fee for compliance posters and manuals and all kinds of nonsense stating that (you or who they talked with) authorized the information to be sent and paid for. LESSON LEARNED!!!

Just got the same type call asking for the owner kind of by name but used his first initial...first clue it was a telemarketer.  Told him he was not available and gave me his name and number...Bob Steele 877-398-9254 and it was regarding OSHA.  I think not...I will file that message in the circular file aka garbage can.

Left message on answering machine - Hello, this is Jim Ryan with *^*^^$^(to garbled to hear, and I replayed the message 3 times), I'm calling in regards to your Non-Compliance with OSHA.  It's important for you to call me at 877-398-9254 immediately.
