THEY STATE YOU RECEIVE A $50, FREE GIFT CARD TO WALL MART. THEN THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO PAY A SMALL HANDLING CHARGE FOR SHIPPING..
 IF THIS WAS ON THE UP&UP AND THEY ARE GIVING ME $50. WHY AREN'T THEY PAYING THE SMALL SHIPPING CHARGE, ALSO I THINK IT IS JUST A SCAM TO GET YOUR INFORMATION FROM YOU SO THEY CAN USE IT. NO MENTION OF THE COMPANY,OR HOW I HAD DESERVED  THIS, OR WHAT CONTEST I SUPPOSEDLY ENTERED. THE PERSON I TALKED WITH WAS DEFINITELY FOREIGN SOUNDING.

i got a call for a 50.00 gift card to walmart. I was asked to pay a small fee. I asked if i could verify it with walmart and he said wait a minute, when he came back on line he said it was no longer avaible for the state of ohio. He then said he could offer me a gas gift card a 200.00, it would cost 1.00 now and 1.00 after i recieve it, I ask who was giving this gift card and he said his company,BUYERS EDGE i said i think this is a scam and i would call back.  I called the better business bureau, what they found looked like a scam to them.

shouldn't these be covered under the do not call registry?

said "thank you for visiting our site" (I never visited any site)
said they have a $50 walmart card
I called Verizon
Verizon called them and they said they got my number either by going to a gas station or walmart.
NOT.
I don't even own a car.
Phone companies can care less if you have to pay for all these unsolicited texts.
& depending who you speak to some say to press stop some say erase message right away and DON'T press stop.
& I'll be dayumed paying MORE money to opt out on EACH thousand phone number that texts me!.
They all think the same thing.
That we're giving our number out meanwhile I give it out to no-one and still get these messages.
I have to pay .20 plus tax on each text and it adds up and why should I pay a PENNY for texts that DO NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION to text me,
it's unheard of!
The person who is TEXTING US should be charged not the other way around!
Unheard of!!!!!

I do not appreciate receiving unwanted texts such as this. I would like to know how to get this stopped.

I recived an TXT message from 8774170116 and replied STOP. Looks like a scam

Yeah, I got one too.  I called and talked to them and they kept trying to get my credit card number for "verification".  Yeah right.  I hung up on the guy.  His accent was east Indian.

Now they are sending text messages saying Thank you for visiting our site Call 877-417-0116 to recieve your $50 Walmart Gift card Code 5345  Reply STOP to DNC

Text message comes from 40341

Same problem as reported by everybody else, keep getting texts claiming I visited their site, they have a walmart card, call this number.  Please make them stop!

3 texts in a row, wouldn't answer my questions when I called to ask them to stop

I just got a text from this number. what do i do about it?

they are from India always reply, 'Cows taste good!"

Keep getting text messages from 40341 saying "Thanks 4 Visiting our site  Call 877-417-0116 to receive Your $50 Walmart Gift Card . . . Reply STOP to DNC"  Even though I have replied STOP numerous times, THEY NEVER STOP.  Also, these texts are being charged to my account and they are unwanted!
