Caller ID showed this number but nothing else. I did not recognize it, so I let it ring. No message left by caller.

Comes up as 800 Service.  These criminals call 3 or 4 times a day at all hours despite my number being on Do Not Call registry. This has been going on for 3 weeks.  I finally picked up to cuss them out and no one was there. I was also thinking of blowing a coach's whistle sharply into their nasty ear (maybe cause a little hearing damage).  Probably robot calling to find out what time of day and day of week the phone is answered and then sells the info to other criminals. I went into Comcast account and blocked this number.

Someone calls from this number and announces my name.  I respond and no one answers.  No msg left.

Comes up 800 services I been gettingh severalmcalls a day at all hours of the day; theres never a message they just hang up! If you answer you then get a dail tone because they hung up! They can only be up to no good!

Received calls from 877-422-5193 between 8pm and 9pm.  I am on do not call list.
They never leave a message

they call and never said a word.  i blocked there number and reported to  https://www.donotcall.gov/  . i filed a complaint. , if you are on the do not call list. report them. they will stop. and face a $10,000  fine.

A man asked for my husband, only asking could he speak to Mr. Robinson. I asked who was calling & he replied, "Jesse McIntyre, this is a thank you call." I said, "He's at work right now, may I take a message?" He says, "There's no message, we'll have to try him at a better time." So, I ask, "May I tell him what company you're calling from?" He hangs up. I call the # back & it rings about 20 times before I get a really loud, high pitched noise. The caller ID listed the caller name as "800 Service". We are on the Do Not Call registry and we haven't solicited any company that would require a thank you call, nor are we behind on any of our bills that would warrant any debt collection agency calls. I'm thinking that this may be a call from a "charitable organization" looking for a donation. This should still be against the rules & count as a telemarketing call. Are they not trying to market their charity to me? Besides, rude, obtuse callers are far less likely to get a donation, than say a polite, informative one.

*Update*
Got a second call last night @ 6:50pm. My husband answered this time & it IS a donation/charity. They were from the State Sheriff's Association. I live in MD., so, it will be curious to find out why & if they're calling people in other states. Will be reporting them though, as my husband told them no to a donation last night & they've called 2 more times today!

got a nother call and no one was there.This is Harrassment and thats all it is.IF ,It is a so called Sheriffs department?Then say something instead of acting like the doorknob you are.
They are also using another number which has been blocked now and will report this behavior to the phone company  tommaroow the other number is 877-791-9396

No message, as I now refuse to answer calls from this number, and they hang up when my answering machine comes on. This is the third time today.

It's NOT a charity if it's the number that has been reported under this particular blog. Don't give them any info or money!
