I am kind of afraid to reply STOP back...for fear that will trigger something else...

Got a text from these guys. Here's what i got.

Got the same text. Been dodgin bill collectors? Prob a debt collector who thinks they're slick cuz we keep screening their calls, figures they'll use "greed" to get a response from us and confirm the phone number and address etc. Who knows, that's just my guess.

Got the same text I called from my lawyers office and it said I was not calling from a number that is part of their campaign and disco,,, no business that was not a scam and a riop off would do this

Ok I have the info the company is called Subscriber Services Inc. They claim they are out of Arvada, CO. I called from a different number and started hitting 000000 before it notified me I was not calling them from my cell, I questioned the lady who answered, she claims that they would have gotten my cell from an online survey or from one of the 40+ retailers they service such as Target, Wal-Mart, different gasoline companies and so on. I told her I do not give out my cell number to anyone and I do not want to receive correspondence from them anymore she said I have to give her my phone number to have it put on the Do Not Call list. I told her it was already on the Do Not Call list and she hung up/

Received the text message about Wal Mart.  Shut the number down.

They're trying to hook you into magazine subscriptions.
It starts with, "As part of ....  you can receive 3 free magazine subscriptions.  What magazines do you like to read?"  When you answer, I"m not interested in any magazines - they hang up on you.

There's no reason for you to be typing in all CAPS!!! That's obnoxious.

You're correct about replying STOP. It's similar to SPAM email when you click their Opt-out link and it only tells their email program that your address is live and in use, so they will just move your address to another phony list, or sell/exchange it with other Spammers. Legit marketers, especially well-known names, will abide by requests to stop calling, emailing or texting. Scammers do not care if you're on any Do-Not-Call list.

Just got the same text a couple minutes ago and called the numbers back from a pay phone and after pressing 0000 I finally got someone and they were less than sympathetic when I told them they had no business calling me.

I tried calling the number back to talk to someone about how they received my number , but with no luck. No one would pick up the line.
I like how they are sending the message out from a different number. Total scam!!!

Idk how you get my phone number? i just had a new phone yesterday and why the reason want my card numbers? they can send mail to me and prove it! i don't need a magazines. And espeaily i won $250 vouchers. But i can go walmart and find out is the prank or not? Definetly not cool to prank people like that. she freaking talk extremely rude to me on the phone. i don't apperiate they don't need to talk to me that way. Thank you.

This is definitely a scam to try to make money. Don't waste your time.

I got the text message as well. I wish there was a way we could get them to stop altogether. Someone isn't going to be smart enough to know its a scam. They never gave a name or anything. I had to ask how I "won" this $250 gift card. He said through a survey. I said what company is this and he replied CCI. I have never even heard of this!! I told them I didn't look at magazines and he kept pushing the issue. Then put me on hold when I hung up. I hope people are getting smarter in not always believing everything!! Total Scam

I've gotten it before an when I called to claim the prize they needed a credit card number to load the money on so u gave them a pre paid card number an they said they could not except it so it's a scam wal mart would giv you a pre paid wal mart gift card not load money on your credit card SCAM.

I got this text 2 days ago Oct 15th 2013 saying we are holding a $250.00 gift voucher in your name please call us @ 1=877=432-4070 now to redeem. stop2stop help4help msg rates may apply. I didn't trust it from word one and deleted.
