Scam for the internet payday loan co. GMG group they claim they are a legal firm located in phoniox az.
But the mumber is from the portland area they are making claims of money owed to CMG group. Look up CMG group they have thousands of complaints on the internet. the company at this number claims they are the allstate lawfirm out of arizona but the only leagal in arizona with a state bar lic number is allstate life insurance co. watch out they try to sound all officail and such. they claimed that if I pay them they will stop the lawsuit aginst me. funny I have checked all leagal sources both in my home state and arizona and cant find any filling aginst me.

They have called me threatening legal action. They say they need a return call to settle the matter or they will send a person called Judy or Julie to serve me with papers at my job. They  also gave me some phony court record #. They claim I owe them  $ 820.00 and that they will settle for $589.00 today.

This company is very legal...I got a cll from the process server gd thing he cll i had charges I wsnt even aware of thing is he ws just verifying my adss ws very courteous and letting me know to contct the attorney office to find out about it before he servd me...I cll found out what was going on they was willing to arrange something before I place anything on file I verify everything and it was all true... def not a scan I cll back took a arrangement and my summons got place on hold if the attorney cn appvd it the client filing charges against me ws willing to settle with me and I really had took out the loan with that being said stop getting your panties in a bunch!!!!!!!!!!!Pay ya damn loan you know u ole it I just dnt want to be bothered  so if u taking the crap to court ima just pay it...the process server may not get to u quick but eventually they wll catch up to u...I aint willing to go thru all that

Process server don't call in advance. Nothing else you write is true either.

this is a very helpful company they are very legit all you people talking negative are all probly broke and took these loans out thiking u dont have to pay them back...well that is STEALING and you all know that they helped me and my attorney looked into it so i appreciate them greatly ;)

I have recieved a call from this number stating it is regards to "a legal matter" and that I am "listed in legal documents" for "check fraud".  That I need to "please call 877-446-4399" in regards to "case A-###-###"

I get the feeling it is more about "phishing" for information.  They slaughtered my last name.

For easily over 10 years I only electronic bank (any actual checks are so old they say "19__" for the year blank.)  Never had a problem.  Never bounced a check.  I looked at my credit reports thinking identity theft; there was nothing unusual or negative.

I may be unusual but...I have no debt save for whatever credit card charges I have made each month (paid off in full each month - I want the air miles reward).


This smells phishy to me!!

I actually received a call from a different number, they left a voice mail telling me to call this number (checked the voice mail three times to be sure it was really this number) if I'm interested in buyback of my timeshare.  Hmmmmmm......

This number called me & left a message asking if we wanted to sell our time share on a guaranteed sale to call them back. Left no name of the company. SCAM!

This number was given to me by a telemarketer trying to resell timeshares. "Chris" was very rude and obnoxious. Be careful. I believe this is a scam.

Thanks for your input.  Did this "Chris" tell you he dealt only in Marriott Properties?  Or was he interested in all Time-Shares?

I got a call from a different number and the guy said his name was Bill. He knew my name and my fiancee's name. He wanted to know if we were interested in getting out from under our TimeShare and said they have a buy back program but never said the name of the company. He knew where my TimeShare was located as well.
He left this number as the number to call him back, with an extension. To date, I have not returned the call.

I am interested to hear if anyone has in fact talked with them regarding TimeShares.

SCAM-  Woman called, said her name is Jeanie, stated she is calling about my timeshare and that the company owning the timeshare wants to "buy it back".  NOT TRUE and NOT calling them back.

They also left me a message about buying my time share! Not happening!  In Another site someone reports they wanted the credit card number to get an advance on the sale. Surely a scam.
