this # is from a collection agency for medical bills etc...my big problem was they put 'me' on hold and the phone was tied up for over 3 minutes!..I could NOT have disconnected(I tried) had their been an emergency and I needed the phone..is this legal?

It was for a medical bill I needed to pay.

caller was recording that used my name and told me to call them back as they had an offer for me. I didn't call back.

I have an answering machine, so why in the world don't they leave a message sometime? I DO NOT answer calls from numbers I don't know, so they can call back till hell freezes over & I am not going to answer it!

I think this number is a scam. I called them and had to leave a message in their medical bill mail box. I said I don't owe any money. I would like to know what this is about. left my number and as yet they haven't called back. I think they are fishing for info. If you owe money they may be trying to get your Social security number.
I haven't reported this number yet because I'm not sure.

I called this number and asked them to leave me a message identifying who they are.  In addition I left them a list of times to call me when I am available.  I will let you know what become of it.

They called me and said I'[ve got a $10.000  bill .  Wrong ss nom.

It was my medical office telling me I missed an appointment and to call back to reschedule.  Must be some sort of medical service.

We have received 10 phone calls in about a 2 week span; mostly call around 4 in the afternoon but had 1 this morning before lunch.  We have filed a complaint with the IL State Atty General, but apparently this bottom feeder outfit can't be located.  We are sick of them.  They never leave a message.

I am getting these on a regular basis over the last several weeks, including one about a minute ago. Very frustrating....

They called and I didn't answer. They left no message. I called back and it was an obvious call center. When I asked the woman what type of business it was, she only said, "It's a business office for hospitals." And she wouldn't pronounce the company name slowly so I couldn't understand her even after asking her to repeat it. I asked her why she was calling me and she looked up my phone number and said it's not in her system and she had no one in her system with my name. I said, "I'm not in your system, so why are you calling me?" She said, "Okayyy..." Then I hung up. No idea what they want but they shouldn't be calling me if she doesn't have my number in her "system."

Received a second call from this number.  When I answered, no one replied.

called me and left a message. havent been to proctor in years, but apparently they think i owe them money

no idea who it is but they keep calling in the morning while I'm trying to sleep which is just obnoxious.

I called back it was for Carlinville Area Hospital however I have 2 insurances so I never get billed I pay co-pays they said they will bill my insurance....never asked for any personal information

I got a call, I answered it and nobody was there. Less than one minute after the phone disconnected, I got a call from 1-305-507-4386 (showing Miami, Florida) asking me about birth control pills giving me blood clots. These people have a strong accent and you can't understand a word that they say.

Keep calling me on cell phone at work. It's very annoying. When I called the number, a woman I could barely understand answered. She refused to tell me her name nor the company's name, only that she was calling on behalf of the local hospital & I needed to pay a bill I owe. I told her I never received a bill, so how can I pay a bill I haven't received?  I haven't had any phone calls since. I will be speaking to the CEO of the local hospital over this matter.
