They call, no one says anything, then they hang up...it's getting very annoying.  If it is qwest I would think about switching telephone companies!!!

I answered this call.  It asked if I was a specific person.  I'm not that person.  That person does not live with me.  Never has.  I've pressed '2' to let their machine know that I am not that person but they keep on calling several times a day.  Once pretending to be that person I got in touch with a nasty woman who claims that that person owes money.  This is just a collection agency.  It has reached harrassment levels.  My next step will be to report them to the Attorney General.

Yep. It's Qwest. Call the number back, and that's the answering message.

That number called me....the idiot evidently did not hear my answering machine pickup. His message was nothing but "Hello....hello.....hello".

They call me all the time wanting me to bundle my services...when I tell them that I did that 2 years ago they want to keep me on the line so they can check if I'm right. I just hang up now.

This number is NOT qwest, it is a scam. They called and tried to get me to bundle services and did not know what services I already had. They also asked me to include internet which I already have. I am sure they would have "helped" me out ordering with credit card info or bank info if I would have continued the call.
I called qwest and was told no one from that company has that number and they do not have people call to bundle services.
    BEWARE SCAM

Report this tel # and make them stop!!!!
They are clearly a scam....they also asked that I bundle services, which I already had.  They ask for personal information (address, credit info., account info.) and call at all hours.  Who would be stupid enough to give them this information?  I have received 14 calls from them today alone!!   Please continue to report this number through the do not call registry....even though it seems like it takes a while, the calls will eventually stop if we continue to report them.

Thanks for the posts.  Thankfully the number has been showing up while I'm at work & they don't leave a message.  Figured if it was important they would, but now I know not to answer if they call while I'm home.  Thanks again for the posts!!

I called the number back, waited for a QWEST representative, and got taken off the list. Had to do this about a year ago.
I guess it has to do with their new fiber optic internet service that I've gotten about a half dozen mailings about.

Just got another call, two weeks after telling them to leave me alone.

I reported it to Qwest's harrassment resolution phone number,
which is 1-800-582-0655. I spoke to a very nice rep who told me
that it was indeed Qwest calling, and that she would put me on
    their "do-not-call" telemarketing list.

She told me that it would take up to 30 days for the calls to
cease completely, but to keep in touch. She explained that
a lot of the telemarketing is "farmed out" to various call centers,
and apologized profusely for the harrassing calls.

I'll let you all know if it works!

You should go ahead and report them to the State Attorney General's Office.  The caller, "QWEST" is in violation of the FCC Rules and Regulations and can be fined for making these types of phone calls over and over.  They did it to me also and I took it one step further and contacted the FCC and now there are several fines of which you will get a claim from.  Stay on State Attorney General's Office to pursue for harrassing phone calls and this is your ticket to claim money owed to you for harrassing charges.  Good Luck!

Easy fix guys...call them up, tell them you don't want any more marketing calls from them.  I just blocked them from sending email, calling me and sending anything by mail...

I have gotten 2 calls already today, one at 11:48 a.m. the other at 1:59 p.m. First one the answering machine got the voice of the man saying "hello...hello...hello" then hang up.  Second one was a woman doing exactly the same thing.  Thing is after the first call at 11:48 this morning I got on the computer here & looked up your messages & saw this site & everything matched up so I called Qwest to complain.  Oh, guess what, the guy tried to sell me a "bundle package of DirecTv or Verizon cell phone" which I immediately refused, while complaining again.  The next phone call at 1:59 p.m. I decided I was going to call Qwest each time they bothered me at home, so I called their complaint line again, again the guy tried to sell me a "bundle package of DirecTv or Verizon cell phone" just to "save me some money" as I was complaining to him about my already being on the National Do Not Call Register and the Qwest set-up that states I do not accept telemarketers calls.  I just don't know what to do.  I told him I would just contact the Attorney General's office.  He told me to go ahead.  Guess they just don't care about their customers.

Just as soon as I finished sending my above message in I got another call from 877-453-9413.  Needless to say, I answered it this time, I was extremely mad at Juan, he asked if I wanted to talk to his superviser when I asked for the address to give to the Attorney Generals office about these constant phone calls.  So I got his superviser, Kris Teske, who said yes, it is Qwest, but when I asked for the address to send the complaint to the Attorney Generals office Kris said, "Well, actually we are a 3rd party vendor under Qwest..." then he hung up on me.  How do you like that?
