Its West Wood Asset Management.  They're  rude and leaving very threatening messages.  They violate the FDCA.  Don't respond to them.

Heard from them today saying they have serious Allegations against us. Who are they?

Being harrased by westwood management co. Don't even know who they are.

I got a call from them today too. Saying I owed on a payday loan I received over 9 years ago! Never took out a payday loan. Said their "clients" were willing to take half of what I owed them, and that they may be filing a lawsuit against me. The funny part is that they couldn't tell me when the loan took place, couldn't even give me a deposit date. They couldn't email or mail me anything and didn't have a contact number for me to call their "client".

Received 4 calls in one day leaving some long message about a payday loan from 7 YEARS AGO.
They have my ss# .
This is similar to another company with a different name that I successfully blocked on my home and cell phone #s.

I told them to send me something in writing and I will lokk it over. They said they did already.I said I moved and they said don;t you get your mail forwarded?

I told them they are a "junk debt" collector trying to collect on a debt that may or may not be paid that they paid pennies on the dollar for and they stand to make 70-90% profit ,thats why they are so aggressive.
Block their number tell them you have the wrong person if they get through.
They are jerks.
I have acces to my vredit report everyday and nothing has shown up EVER about this debt.

I received a call from this number who left a message threatening a lawsuit against me.  I have never received anything by mail and nothing on my credit report regarding this West Wood Asset Management.

I recceived a message from a man named "Davis Brown" & he is an independant summons person. Really weird because the telephone # he was calling from was Temple, TX; Water Commission Department. But he left this # 877-454-5563 and the name "WestWood". I don't deal with threats.

Calling my by former married name which I haven't had in 5 years. It's hard to understand everything being said. It's a woman saying something about bad checks under my social security number and message is pursuant to federal article 95-109. I think it's a scam.

These people started by calling a family member stating I was writing bad checks and I was being taken to court. I called them and they said I had a pay day loan I owed from 2004. They would give me no information. I asked for something in writing and they refused. They said I owed over $1300 but would settle for $500 now. They are very rude and made threats.

They called and said their client was getting ready to serve me for "bank fraud" and they had a completely wrong social security number and date of birth, not to mention wrong full name. When I said he had the wrong person he said I'm "blowing my top for no reason" and hung up on me. Seriously apparently they can and call and say whatever they want. How about you get your facts straight first before you make such errorious statements. He was very rude!

Same person just called me 15 minutes ago but it came up as the DOL/OSHA 973-299-7161 which is the FAX number for the Parsipanny NJ OSHA office.  Told him I have already contacted the FTC about their tactics and when I told him to not come anywhere near my property he said if I am going to threaten him he will have the sheriff with him .. I said oh really smart guy, what sheriff department ... he hung up.  This was also preceded by three phone calls from this 877 number everyone is posting about.  1 on my mobile and two on my home phone, which the second consecutive call I picked up and told her to go away.

Been getting several calls over the last two weeks from these people ... she even sent a text message tonight with the number from the number ... I guess hoping I would call the number back.  Now I might have a case since I can say the text message caused me financially.  Finally tonight she called tonight before the text message once on my mobile and twice on the home.  Second one I picked up and told her to go away.

I received a phone call on my mobile number saying a pending lawsuit could be brought against me.I don't like it when companies call up threatening legal action.

Received a long message from Mike Radcliffe threatening being sued or summoned to court for a loan of some sort.  They had my email address and I don't know how.  Anyway, he told me it was from 2006 and I asked him for their address and he blew up, threatened, got loud and refused to talk to me any further.  It is a scam!  Mitchell Credit Law can help.  Log all phone calls from them and get pertinent information, like who you talked to...and sue them!  They deserve it!

I received the same message on my voice mail yesterday.  I have no idea how these sharks get their information from ... I have a non-published phone number and have not written any bad checks.  This is obviously a scam, and these kind of people usually move on quickly if you either don't respond or if they do get through, tell them flat out that you are reporting the call to your state's consumer fraud department -- generally that is with the state attorney general's office of your state.

You start mentioning police, reporting them to the proper authorities, etc. they'll usually drop you like a hot rock and move on to someone else.'

Give them no information!!

This number just called me. Stating something about legal action, federal law ext. Tried calling them back rang 100 times no answer. Tried calling again and it was busy. Thanks to this website I knwo they are a bunch of crooks!

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM SOMEONE CALLING FROM THE 254-742-907 # .HER NAME WAS MAXINE BILLIINGS. STATING THAT HER CLIENT CAN BE REACHED @ 877-454-5563 AND THAT SHE IS TRYING TO REACH ME TO SERVE ME WITH A SUMMONS AND THAT I NEEDED 2 FORMS OF ID FOR HER.  AND THAT I NEEDED TO APPEAR IN COURT BUT CALLING THE CLIENT COULD RESOLVE THIS ISSUE BEFORE I GET THE SUMMONS.  THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME FOR OVER A YEAR WITH THE SAME THREATS...I HAVE SPOKEN WITH ASSET MANAGEMENT BEFORE AND THEY SEEMED FRADULENT AND A CLASS ACTION SUIT HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST THEM FOR THEIR SHADY COLLECTION TACTICS BY THE FTC.  THESE PEOPLE ARE SHARKS FOR SURE.

MADE THREATS ABOUT SERVING ME.

Received a call from the 877 # from a person who identified herself as Megan.  The call was regarding an alleged 2005 Payday loan...I was advised that although the loan was written off by her client, her agency was attempting to collect the debt and that my failure to settle would result in legal actions against me.  The following morning I received a call from Davis Brown Independent Process Server, obtained by Respondent to serve me legal papers.  After a call to my attorney I am convinced that this has got to be a scam.
