When I called back, they said it was "Dealer Services."  When I asked what they handled, it was extended warranties.  Either way, the guy who answered the phone was RUDE.

"JR Smith" called my wife and said he was with Financial Services and was calling about my truck.  Since I wasn't available he left a reference number and this phone number asked her to have me call him back.  When I called the number I got a recording that said I had reached "First Choice Lending."  There's definitely something screwy here.

Received a call from this number regarding extended warranty for my vehicle. They incorrectly stated my year, make and model, and when I asked who they were affiliated with, they stated Dealer Services. After some discussion about warranty amounts and coverage I asked if I could think about it for some time. I was given to another rep who began badgering me and taking a tone with me. I stated that as a responsible consumer I wanted to research this before committing, so he told me I had 48 hours and hung up on me. I don't believe these people are any affiliation to the car manufacturers, just another consumer vulture.

that is the tactic.. they sell garbage aftermarket auto warranties...trying to lead you to believe it is your final opportunity..they will also lie and say they are affiliated with a manufacturer and extending the original manufacturers warranty, not true..or they will say they are with the insurance underwriter.. they try to get you to put a down payment on your credit card and they cannot call you back because it is a final courtesy call... they cant call you back because they are on an automatic dialer and if you do search the company you will see they are a scam...that is why they want yor credit card right away..and they charge the customer a large fee to cancel

you need to contact your state attorney general, local better business bureau, and make a complaint with the federal trade commission reporting telemarketing fraud when they tell you these sorts of things. it is illegal to liue or misrepresent a good or service in effort to sell it

My wife received a call from this number asking for me. The man said his name was Pat. When she told him that I wasn't home he left a reference # and hung up before she could ask what it was for. I googled the number to find out what company before calling back and found these posts. I won't be bothering to call him back. Thank you for your posts.

They called my house. Left my mom a message and a reference number. They called and said they were from desert wolksvagen, so my mom was like ohh call them call them. I call the number I get a Realtor. But my mom doesnt believe me I call VW and inquire who could have called me, they have no idea. I finally google this number and get here. I think this is a scam. How can someone randomly call you and tell you they have a reference number?! Whatever. WASTE OF TIME.

Had a message on my work voice mail.  Somebody called "Shavawn" from Dealer Services regarding my 2007 Ford Mustang and extending my warranty. They left a reference number.  I have never owned a Ford Mustang.  I called the number and gave the reference number. She wanted my name, I said you called me and left a voice mail which clearly states my name, plus you left a reference number so look it up.

She kept insisting that I tell her my name as she said they make many calls and leave reference numbers, so I said you mean everyone gets the same reference number? Well no she said, so again I said look it up. She then in on the extended warranty spiel.  I said where did you get info that I own a Ford Mustang?  I have never owned a Ford Mustang.  She started getting rude and I said this is a scam and I am going to report you. She hung up....

My car's battery went dead, and I talked to the Honda dealer on that morning. I got a voice mail msg from "Tomas Stiker" from Dealer SVS with the ref.#.
I called back the next day, went thru the voice mail. I did leave my name and phone# cuz I thought maybe that was the call from the dealer I spoke to.....Needed to reset my radio, and was supposed to call them.
I did leave my name and phone # on the msg, then I googled this #, and read all these comments.
Hey, did I just give out my info. they could use for the bad reason?  I need your opinion. Help!

This number called my grandparents selling them an extended warranty on their car like everyone else on here... The difference is, they actually gave the caller "Joe Lopez" their checking account information.  Did anybody else give out this info and if so do they charge you? I am almost positive I need to close the account for them so they don't get a hold of their funds! Thanks guys!

First a lady speaks and tells she is a new trainee and pretends to transfer the call when the other guy is right beside her. Then the guy tries to shove you the extended warranty of your vehicle. Very rudely asks "what is stopping you to buy this coverage?"
He said he wanted to help me save my money. I told him bluntly that I don't need a money manager. I said thanks but I need some time to decide and would call back. He said he won't get the same rate and payment options. I said I still need time nonetheless. He became very angry and said "Are you buying this warranty or not?"
    I was like "WTF"!

Somewhere in the middle of the conversation I sensed that their unprofessional tone would possibly mean they are scammers. God hates scammers ! ;- )
