- Joseph| 3 repliesCalled it back. SST Financial Services calling from a new number.
- Caller: SST Financial
- Ricardo replies to Joseph| 2 repliesI also called it back. They called my newly connected number, and when I called it back, they wouldn't give me any information, and also told me that they wouldn't stop calling me, because they had no idea who I was (as if that makes any sense). They were unbelievably rude. How can I make them stop?
- Steve replies to Ricardo| 1 replyWatch these guys, they always ask for personal information "to verify they are talking to the right person".
When you refuse to give the info, they get mad and list you as uncooperative an keep calling. They are a service company only, I recommend everyone file a complaint with their customer, your creditor. - Greg| 1 replyConfirmed - i live in canada and SST is the one that is calling from this number. They took over the wells fargo loans when they stopped doing business in Canada at least in NL

- Nicole| 1 replySST is really pissing me off. My payments are due on the 16th. Every month on the 16th I make the payments via internet banking. Every month they start calling me on the 17th... every 15 minutes or so to ask me where my payment is... telling me my account is in arrears. Come on!! It takes time to transfer to their accounts when I do internet banking... however it always shows posted on the 16th. Today they have called my home # 12 times and my cell 8 times. When I answered my cell... I got a recording telling me to hold as all agents were currently assisting other customers. When guy came on the line, he asked me to verify my name, mailing address, and my account number with them. My response was: no... you called me. They are seriously infuriating me. I have asked for a pre-authorized for over a dozen times... still haven't received one. When Wells Fargo sold off their accounts to this place, they clearly didn't do any research on them. Sad. My first loan with Wells Fargo was 7 years - I didn't miss one payment and never received a call from them. Since selling to SST I have had NOTHING but problems. I have even over-paid on 2 payments that SST decided to say I missed... almost 2 years ago. I faxed in all bank statements showing NO payments were missed... they told me they were investigating... heard nothing back. I faxed in the documentation 4 times. I finally got fed up and just made the "missing" 2 payments. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!!

- Nadine replies to GregThey call in Saskatchewan as well and ARE VERY RUDE
- Nadine replies to NicoleI couldn't agree more - This paints a very bad light on Wells Fargo as well.
- anonymous replies to SteveFolks, the rule is if they call you, you must NEVER verify or give away any info because the party calling you may be a SCAMMER pretending to be your bank/lender. If you call them, then it's OK to give them your info because you know who you dialed.
- Gerrit in NBYeah I had a loan with Wells Fargo that got sold off to these guys when WF bailed outta Canada. I have been making my payments but the statements i have received from them in the mail every month state that I am 2 months behind on my payments as well. ALSO I consistently receive letters that are dated several weeks before my payments date. (payment date is the 21st of the month and im getting these letters at the beginning of the month) that are demands for payment. a letter stating that they hadn't received the current months payment yet and that if i don't make the payment actions will be taken against me. (ex: i received a letter on Nov 6th that was dated Nov 1st. It demanded i pay my bill because they hadn't received my Nov 21st payment yet).
I have called them on this issue in the past and gave them [***] for it... but still doesnt stop. In an effort to pay this off faster i am not making double loan payments each month (started in october) and am still getting a ton of calls frm these guys. not voice mail from them though. It's gotten to the point where i just dont answer and just make my payments. but im getting annoyed with the calls all the time. so one of these days im going to answer and tell them if they dont smarten up im reporting them to the better business bureau. - Paul in AlbertaI have been receiving numerous calls from these idiots everyday and it's the same thing, I answer and it either disconnects right away or I am told to wait for a representative, HOW IS THAT OK?!?!?! They call at all hours of the day and then expect me to wait on hold, finally I called these idiots back and got a person and made arrangements to have this damn account cleared up (only giving them basic info that anyone could find out). Then no more then an hour later I get another call!!!! I lost my mind on them, this person would not let it go, I said I've made arrangements and it's been taken care of and they kept prodding to get me to set up a pre-authorized payment and wanted my banking information so they could verify, I DON'T THINK SO!!! I said I don't have that information and that I've already made arrangements so LEAVE ME ALONE. She kept asking for the information. I am so hot right now and needed to vent, how these people are in business is beyond me. If there's a way to lodge a formal complaint I'm going to find it, this is completely not professional!

- Irene LafontaineI want these calls to stop. They keep coming in every 30 minutes. It is very disruptive. I will be contacting the company that they are working for and advise them that if they do not stop I will file a harassment claim against them.
