877-479-9801

I got an unsolisited text from 650-556-3922 & it said to call 877-479-9801 to claim my $100 gift card voucher from Wal-Mart.  It then said to "reply STOP 2 Unsub".  I contacted my wireless carrier (Verizon) & they said it's most likely a scam, but in order for them to be able to block the caller from our phones I had to first reply STOP, so I did that.  They said they would reverse any fraudulant charges from our account that could arise from this company.  I then went back on the web & googled 877-479-9801 & found some info through the BBB of Utah.  The company name is:  Google Money Profits & they have an F rating with that BBB office (shocked, stunned & amazed).  Here's a link so you can see it for yourself.  http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/work ... ton-ut-22241670

i got the same text and called back they said theyll send me the the card for trying out thier product but i had to give them my card number (its prepaid so nothing can come from this) besides i only had like $2.00 on it anyway so ill see what happens!

i received a text and was asked to call 877-479-9801 to claim my Walmart gift. I replied STOP, lets see if it work. I'm sure this is bogus.

Same thing, I almost called the number but wanted to make sure it wasn't one of those that charge you an exorbiant fee for long distance and this is what I hit on.  I replied Stop like 10 times....just to get accross to them I don't want any of this [***]!

I got an unsolicite warning that my system on Windows 10 Defender was corrupt and I have to call  18774799801 or all data will be lost. I have shut down my computer several times, turned it off, and unplugged it but the warning keeps coming back. Help.

Got beeps on computer and said Serious malfunction....Windows 7 / Server 2008 R 27....DO NOT SHUT DOWN OR RESTART THE COMPUTER....call 877-479-9801. Sounds like one of those computer scams where you obey and don't shut down the computer (hence never finding out a simple CONTROL, ALT, DELETE works) and maybe they will ask for a money card number and take your money?

Will type in the phone number of them below in case it's required field , but they nevered called me, I got the number in the beeping computer screen message.

Got a message on computer: "Microsoft has detected a problem with Firefox, call this # to resolve" -- same as above.

Same here. Try running Malwarebytes. Tough to get rid of it but mine is back to normal. Wasn't necessary in my case but I imagine going back to an earlier restore point should work.
