It's "West Asset Management" calling. They are collectors.

Four messages in the last week.  Two with very heavy Mexican accents, one of whom claims her name is "Nancy".  Yeah, right.  My phone is on the "do not call" registry.  Apparently it means nothing to these people.  They want information on a friend of mine who was killed recently.  Only one left a garbled company name, ______ Asset Management.  The others only left a phone number and case number.  Also, one of the numbers left was 888-380-8144, but with the same case number.  No way am I calling these people back.

West Asset Management  is a collection angency.

If you recieve a phone call from this number it is to the estate and probate representatitives, you should return the call, and direct the contact to the proper party handeling the estate.


This company is a verified collection agent,and calling them back will not do you any harm.

Getting calls from this company in the last week.  Mexican accent is so heavy that it took me 3 calls just to get the phone number right; can't even get the case number.  They should have outsourced the calling to India, where telemarketers get accent correction lessons.

mom died, she had nothing, they know it, keep calling.

Wanted to know who is handling my deceases father's affairs. Call was directed to my mother.

These people call, give their first name (a different person each time) say they want to speak to the person handling the final affairs of Russ..............., give a file number, and that's it. No company name, no reason for the call. At least they get my name right. Only thing is, I'm not dead yet.
