unwanted calls need to stop

this person had to say my name three times before i could understand what he was saying.then said some bull about this call is being recorded and a attempt to collect a debt.since i have no debt in collection or arrears.i guess my ex girlfriend is using my work phone again as her contact number.her name is anmarie kristin dagner. i have already turn her in before for identity theft in 2008

Someone called from this number, (had a strong accent), and said it was being recorded. She then said your full name is - and gave my first and maiden name. I said no and hung up. This call was placed an hour later than my state law allows collection calls to occur.

This company has called numerous times throughout the day (4-5) and as late as 8:00pm. They always ask for my husband. Because he often works late, I have asked for a message and they never want to leave one. The person on the other end has a strong accent and is barely able to be understood. On one occasion my husband actually answered and they wouldn't even tell him why they were calling, except to collect a debt, but wanted him to verify personal information. Since we are debt free, we assumed it was a phishing scam. Just to amuse them, my husband asked that the company send a written notice of the debt and/ or what they were trying to collect on, but to date have never received anything. Whe you call the company back, they answer but never tell you the name of the collection agency.

this hindu dude called me up when I was sleeping , so I told him to f*** off and if he keeps on calling I will find out where he is calling from and he will change career in a heartbeat, so whoever is supposed to deal with this s*** do it pronto

This number calls me constantly.  They don't tell me why, but if you call the number back and put in your phone number it says to press one if you are ********.  I have no idea why they call.  The name of the company is Allied Interstate.

I get calls from this number 4-5 times daily. No one ever responds when you pick up..silence. Very annoying!

it is 3:11 pm and this number has called me 5 times!!!!

I got at least 4 calls today from this number.  Haven't picked it up yet and don't plan to.  Hope they eventually give up....   I have programmed my phone to have a silent ringtone from annoyances like this before, and they always did eventually stop.

Just got a recorded message - went so fast it was hard to understand. Something about this being a an attempt to collect a debt and gave some really long call-back and reference number. Since we have not had any kind of debt for decades, they either have a wrong number or it's a scam. I'm going to log this number in my annoying calls list just to see if it continues.

I called it back.

I hung up. Its collections.

This number calls me at least once a week and I never answer. This time there was a message left by a recording telling me that this was their last attmept to collect a debt, then they left a number so long my voice mail cut it off.

Keeps calling and says it's an attempt to collect a debt.  I have no debt in collection.

Keep calling cell number about debt collection.  This is "BS".

I called the number back.  I spoke to an individual.  He asked for the number being called.  I gave him the number and he said they were loking for "Jerry ??".  I told them who the number belonged to and it was not "Jerry".  He said they would remove the number from their records.

Got a call from this number at 5:04AM, which is definitely not within the legal call hours for anything. Didn't answer, but from the comments below looks like a collection agency of some sort. They call me again they are going to get an earful.

Have called at all hours, will not say who the debt is for, called as late as 11pm! Ridiculous contacting our attorney general. Is no debt here so no reason for them to call. ridiculous.

Just got called @ 8am Sunday morning ... 3 or 4 calls a day, I'm not answering. This is several months old, we have no debt. When does it stop?

I ignored it but if i get another im going to be pretty P.O.'ed. I have no debt and no way to even create debt so if thats really the case its all bull

No debt for 20 years.  These people called my pre-paid phone!! How is our personal information given out so freely; and by who . Can any Joe Blow or Slim Shady purchase Amercan citizens' personal information? If so they're the ones that should be investigated for breaking and entering into our lives at will. Aquiring information that should be protected.
 The man from this number (877-488-1669) claimed to be an Attorney. I told him to get someone in his office to update his information, and to never call this number again.
