They called, I didn't answer like always when I receive a random long distance call.

I'm guessing it's the same group as 1-866-294-1752. That number has been harassing me for months, and stopped harassing me at the same point as this new number started calling me. It's probably a scam. Don't answer it.

omg, that same number called me too. and then stopped once this new one started. they said they were a collections place. :/

That's what I read when I googled the old number. That doesn't make sense though, because I have no debt. That's why I'm inclined to believe that it's a scam. I'm guessing enough people complained about the old number and this is their new number to harass people with.

Tip: if you're not going to screen the call - add the number to your contact list, add an adorable picture of a kitten or puppy as their contact picture and rename the number something cute. A cute kitten comes up on mine with the word "Hi!" every time I get the call from these losers. It makes it not so bad when they call..... FIVE TIMES A DAY.

Yes it is the same company as ACR (Accounts Recovery Corp.) which is a collection company. Thank god for my blocking feature in my cell phone and every other number that calls my cell or home phone with a 1-866 or 1-877 it all goes into my "reject bin", cheers.

Exact same thing happened to me. The original number would call me 8-10 times a day, even on the weekends at 6 am. Then as soon as they stopped, this new number started.

What I did when this number called me was answer and wait until someone connected (this took a couple of seconds) then asked that my number be removed from the list and the lady said she'd have it done right away. I haven't heard from them since.

the other time when i was in class..i called back,they told that they were looking

This number keeps calling me even when though I've let them know the person there looking for isn't here. A few say they will remove my number, but yet again I get a call later in the day or the next morning! >:o its extremely annoying I'm thinking about changing my number....

They call me 6 times a day, starting at 7am. I have no debt. This is ridiculous. I answered once and it was dead air.

This number has called me at least 6 or 7 times in the past week and a half, I have not answered it at all but it keeps calling, I dont often answer numbers like this but it is starting to irritate me and I do not know what to do

Called me just now. No idea who it is, and no reason why I'd be called by a collection agency.

They've called 7 times in 4 days.  No message. I have no debt - must be looking for whomever had my number before.  Very annoying.
