This caller told my employees that we were 'found in violation of mandatory display for signs' in our business.  When I called them back, they claimed to be a law office.  I inquired about the address and it was given as above - and after speaking with them discovered that they are a seller of labor law compliance signs.  They represented that they are a law office, and made a rather alarming and by the way incorrect statement about our compliance.  We have our labor law posters, through our payroll processor.  I don't like this kind of misrepresentation, and plan to report this.
An initial search of the address the caller gave me does not match the business name.

I just received a call also.  I knew it was bogus from the name and phone number but I am glad to see that someone else is reporting this.  To whom can I call/write to report this illegal practice of mis-representation?

and.... these posters are FREE through the state and federal agencies.... this company has tried every year for me to pay the "one-time fee of $159"... today they hung up on me the second i told them these posters are FREE.

Just got a call them them as well. Telling me that I'm out of compliance. I told him that my payroll usually takes care of this and his attitude changed. He spoke to me like I didn't speak English and told me that I had to get it because I was out of compliance. I said " Look I'm not an idiot. I just want to call my payroll company to see if they had taken care of it." Then the [***] was being smart with me and saying " So when you gunna call them?" And that when I hung up.

These guys keep calling and mailing me and hang up when I complain & ask them to stop contacting me. This kind of misrepresentation should be illegal!!! How can they call themselves "Federal Employment"? Isn't that a crime??

These guys keep calling. When told to stop calling they just hang up.  I called them and told them to stop, will I see that we only called you twice. I told your company to stop calling. They are trying to sell you Labor posters... You can get them from Costco.  For a lot lower then what they are trying to sell them for!

These people are AWEFUL!! They misrepresent themselves and WILL NOT give you an address when requested. TELL anyone that owns a business that this is a SCAM. You can request all of this information for free. The Gov. is great about getting it out. Most of it is online.

These people just called us.  We are a new business and haven't even opened our doors yet!!  They tried to get our debit card number from my husband and when I called them, this is what they told me.  Phillip Bender, Badge #1035 with the Federal Law Office and when I asked him how do I know that they were a scam artist, he replies, We are the Federal Law Office and we will find you $15,000 penalty fee if you don't pay us $150.00.  After I said, I had my posters, he then tried to say we haven't got any from their office to be Official!!!  What a Scam!!!!  I told him I would have to check this all out and Boy am I glad I did!!!  These people need to be Arrested!!!!

These people are relentless!  They say that our company is in their "data base" as not having the appropriate posters for our business.  I repeatedly asked if they ARE the Federal governement...and they merely continue to repeat that they are the "Federal Law Office", but never commit to saying they are with the Federal government.  They ask for the business owner's name, and I told them that if we are in their "data base", then they already have access to that info.  The "agent" calling tells me our business is subject to a $17,000 fine if we do not order and post these required posers.  I told him they are FREE on the Federal U.S. Department of Labor's website!!

Yes, I just opened a new business and my employees were alarmed by several of these called they received.  It was exactly as the post below described.  I wasn't available one day and my husband took the call and freaked out.  I'm a little bit more cautious than that and did some investigation, and found out this is a known scam number.  It makes me feel better others have reported it, and I hope someone can stop them.  It is stressful enough to try & start a mom & pop business in today's economy without having the bejeesus scared out of you like people like this!!!!!

I, too received a call from them - same rather heavy-handed sales pitch described by others here.  I asked directly "Are you with a Federal Agency."  His answer was "This is a federal agency."
He suggested the minimum wage had changed to 8.25 an hour and because of this update we needed new posters and could be found in violation with a fine of $17,000.
When I said the posters are available for free from the DoL, he said those were regular paper and theirs were laminated with the seal on the bottom, as if the DoL's weren't enough.
I asked for a number to call him back and he gave 877-502-6442. Employee number 1041

We just received the same call not 30 minutes ago.  They told us we had been reported as not having the posters (which we do through our payroll company) and threatened that they were going to send someone out to verify and if we were not in compliance we would be fined.
At first I thought "why would an employee report us?"  We have only been open for 2 weeks and a customer wouldn't know if they were posted or not.  Then I became suspicious and googled the number only to find this thread.  What a dispicable way to do business...threatening those that are trying to start up a new business!

I just got the same call that everyone else is mentioning. They called me last week as well and the guy actually yelled at me when I told him I wasn't giving him credit card information over the phone. He threatened me with the same fine as everyone else, and then I said I guess I'm getting fined he yelled at me again and hung up. What can we do to stop these people from harassing us?!

I also received the call from that so called Federal Labour Law Office . My husband recently started his business and wasn't at home when they called. I just told that the owner isn't available now and will call them back. I was absolutely sure they represent the federal agency. The woman gave me their number 8775026442 and agent No. 1059. Then I just entered this phone number in Google and got very useful information about these wretch scammers. Thanks to God for such invention as Internet and people who caution others about fraud.

I have told them three times I do not need their services and now they call, I answer, there is no one there.  It's almost as if they are taunting and harassing me.  How can we get them to stop?  Is there a government agency we can contact?  Isn't it against the law to misrepresent yourself?  It's just ridiculous!

I received a call from this number. When I pick up, no body said anyting in couple seconds. Then I heard a girl with a very low voice saying : "You'r going to die" and then hung up.
I don't really know why they made this call to me and for what?
