My mother has been receiving calls from this number as well - for over 5 months now - once or twice EVERY DAY!  She is at work when the calls come but they always leave their automated voicemail looking for someone named Marie Blachett.. that is NOT my mother's name and she lives alone.  She's had the same phone number for over 3 years now.  She called Bell Canada to have this number blocked but it's not working so they must be calling from a different number DISGUISED as this number.

I've googled this number and it's clearly a scam with many people saying they're getting the same calls - but no solutions.
She needs to have this stopped - this is harrassment for sure!  If you know how to, please post it.

A Collection Company on my phone I listed it as Collectocrap #3 on my phone

Canadian Bonded Credit collection agency. Called repeatedly and left automated messages for an unknown person. I answered once and got connected to an agent, told him that they have the wrong person. They have not called since.

I am getting the same story here.  i've picked-up the phone but there is no agent.  I'm only getting an automayed message with a reference number.  They are asking for a call back.  That's anoying!

I've been getting automated phone calls from this place almost every day since we opened our new office and I finally got fed up this afternoon and called the 1-800 number back and after a short conversation was told they'd remove the number from the list. Let's hope it actually happens.

Here we go again, couple of years ago I was called by this number saying that a bill wasn't paid. They figured that my name was John Hilton, saying that THEY had the wrong person, I asked what address they were looking for and they gave me a address that could not be found in Toronto. The address was say, 419 Goodroad East. When I looked up the address, there was a say 419 Goodroad West, but no 419 Goodroad East. This company must be making money somehow off of people. Is it the phone company perhaps? When you check your message that these frauds left? Hopefully the fraud squad will nip this in the bud.

I just called them back and got through and talked to a lady who removed me from there list or whatever. She took the name of my street and where I lived (Prov/city). She said I would be removed. We will see

i called the number, told the agent that i was getting messages for someone who wasn't me and they told me they would take my number off in 24-48 hours.

I got my cellphone less than a month ago and I receive automated calls on my cell from this number everyday! I called back but the person told me that she can not remove my phone number from their list.

They called with their automated calling machine and gave me a reference # and a number to call. They said I owed FIDO some money and I have not had a account with Fido for over 3 years. I took care of that problem. So I asked if he had anything on file. and he said no. So he told me to call Fido and Fido had no file of me what so ever. We tried everything. But Fido could not call back to confirm I don't owe them money. So I called back and told them what happened and I had no Account and he asked if the address on file was correct but it was my old address. At a time when I had Fido. I replied No and he put me on hold. I hung up. They had French accents and I have no Idea how they got my number I am not listed at this name...

Even if this is a collection company, my understanding of such is they are not allowed by provincial legislation to call outside certain hours and NOT on Sundays.  Well, it is Sunday around 4 pm. I have heard on many occassions, they mask their actual phone number.  I never answer any call from an 800 number or anybody who blocks their number or shows unknown caller.  
If you are legitimate, then why hide who you are.

They have been calling my cell phone since I got it 6 months ago.  I try not to open the phone until I look first.  I dont know who it is. The other number that is calling is 888-721-7759.

anoying calls. repeatly leave auto message on my voice mail of somebody else name. driving people nuts.

i have been gettin g constant calls from them, i have called and told them i am not "Joseph West" who they keep asking and calling for. They have told me they will tkae my numberoff the calling list, and illgo a few months with out calls and they start up again.. so anyone who has called watch becasue give it time and they will start calling again, its supper annoying and it seems like there is nothing you can do about it.. it sucks

They called me bc. i had fido 5 yrs ago!!!I don't own fido nothing, but they keep calling me for yrs leaving just reference number. what about that?

They called and left a message saying that this was not a solicitation and that i was to call them back.I called them back ,got an automated message saying they would return my call.I haven't heard back from them yet.I don't owe any body any money so i have no idea who they are.

When I first moved into my place now I kept getting messages from them for a Sean something, once they called while i was actually there and I hit the key they told me to speak to a representative and the line went dead. Then the calls stopped. Then a little while ago they started calling for Natasha (who I'm also not nor is my roommate) same deal except they kept calling after the line dropping scenario until an actual representative called and I told her she had the wrong number. The calls stopped again. Now they're calling again but without leaving a name this time, just telling me to call them back. Are 877 numbers toll free to call?

These people are irritating. Been getting their calls for over a year now, sometimes 3 times a day. I don't owe anyone money!
I believe they purposely give a persons name, in hopes that you will disclose yours to them. That way they have your name and number and they can search to see if you owe anyone money.
Don't give them your name!

These SOBs have been calling my number for over a year...it's simply ridiculous, and that day i called them from another phone right after they called...i don't have voice mail on my cell, so they can't leave a message...but this is getting so annoying that i can just shoot these ba$tards dead.
