Just Calls and then hangs up

I am tired of getting calls from this number.  I've tried blocking the number with no success.  When I try to answer the call, they hang call.  

calls several times a day then doesn't call for a while then calls again and never has left a message as to who they want to reach or what the purpose is. Very annoying!!

Just got one at 12:57 PM Eastern, August 19th. I get them at least once a day using a different number, all saying 800 services. I never pick it up, and they never leave a message.

Called 7 times never leaves a message. No one answers when call back. Completely ticked off can't block number uses different 877-504-1893.

I called the number back and got pleasant music and put on hold and finally was told by a message machine that the person at that extension was unavailable and please leave a message      So I told them I was sick of them not checking the Do Not Call List and I was filing a report with th FCC, which I did    We'll see if that does any good

Sick of getting this call multiple times in a day. Only one thing I see as a root cause: I had Verizon landline for several years. Last week, I went for FIOS which bundles the (same) phone number in to FIOS package. From next day, I am getting this call 5 times a day with no response.

Calls but no one is there. Left the speaker on for 9 minutes, ... nothing

I just switched over from Grande Communications to AT&T on Friday and have been getting multiple phone calls from this number ever since!!

I just had new number from Mediacom installed 3 days ago. Someone called from this number 4 times today. I was able to answer the last call and they wanted to sell a home security system.

Just switched from Optimum to Verizon FIOS and now the floodgates have opened for courtesy calls of all types.  Just got this one at 8:30 after just having put the baby to sleep.  

receiving multiple daily and repeat harassment calls from this CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION.  This group of blatant CRIMINALS also uses variations of the last 4 (1890, 1891, 1892, 1893) to attempt to defeat call block measures.  Reported to FTC for CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.  Suggest all other DNC registered victims of these scum criminals do likewise.

Called DNC listed number. CID says unavailable. Another scam bag.

2nd call of the day from these CRIMINALS.  Each CRIMINAL VIOLATION is reported to FTC, which is important to provide the FTC with the magnitude of their CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.  Recommend all DNC registered victims of these blatant CRIMINALS ensure each of their harassing calls are reported as well.

Best advice is to NEVER pick up the phone from "anonymous" callers.  If it's anything you need to know about, a responsible group or person would leave a message and call back number.  It saves a lot of aggravation that way.

My voice message now says,,,,   I don't answer the phone. If you need to talk to me, leave a msg. If not, take me off your list.  Rude? Probably, but I don't care anymore.

The number has called twice, and the phone only rang twice.  I called back and the guy says it was ADT. I asked tehm to never call again, but we'll see.

I just got new phone and this number among others calls non stop and never leaves a message. I am assuming the phone company sells numbers to businesses.
