ID said "800 service" this is usually a telemarketer identifying themselves as "March of Dimes" and THEY use a vast array of numbers to try and get past your attempts to block them. Pure Evil.

called and left no message after I ignored the call

Asked if (knew my first name) was available. I replied "no."  He hung up immediately.  Sounds like the "say yes" scam.

Called ID said "Anonymous".  Left no message.

Caller ID said TOLL FREE 1-877-515-6698. Left no message

Caller ID:  not provided.  Called.  Did not answer.  Left no message.  Ignored.

I've collected from the March of Dimes for about 20 years.  I was called from this phone # in March to see if I would once again collect.  I believe this phone # is OK but I did put in an inquiry to them just to verify it since I don't keep up with the # from one year to the next.  They do call to ask individuals to commit to collecting from their street, which means providing the postage & mailing out to my street & then sending in the contributions in one of their clearly marked envelopes.  If I get a response that the # is being used by a scammer, I will post again.  Until then, I called this #, March of Dimes answered & I feel it's a legit phone #.

Got a call at 8:45 am.  Answered but did not say anything, silence at other end and finally disconnected.  Clearly a robo call and usually a scam.  If it is the March of Dimes their phone number should be listed, this one is not.  My conclusion is that it is bogus and if collecting for the March of Dimes probably gets 99% with 1% going to the March of Dimes.  Unfortunately, too many legal charities are now hiring companies to collect for them, a very bad trend!

Apparently another scam call

Answered because it could have been medical.  Some woman asked if my wife was here.  I replied that she could no longer speak.  She said no problem, she'd call again later.  They're blocked and can stuff it where the sun don't shine.

march dimes again called several Time a Day Becoming a Pain in A--

caller id says march of dimes.  keeps calling at all hours different days.  I think maybe someone else is Telemarketing....

Just received a call from this number. My cable company disconnected it after one ring with their spam monitor. I called the number back.  A recording gave you the option to press number one to hear more about the March of Dimes. After pressing one and hearing a brief description I was given the option to press number three to opt out of future contacts. It said it would take up to 30 days but they would try to process my decline for future phone calls in the next few days. This was all done by an electronic voice. Hopefully they will quit calling every single day and honor my  request to be off of their telemarketing list.

It's not only the number of calls these scammers are making but they obviously have no idea that we have several time zones in this country. How receptive do you think I'll be when you call my house at 7:00am?? I'll be sure NOT to give any money to March of Dimes ever.

I've rec'd a lot of calls from March of Dimes also, but this one had the name "Anonymous".  It's blocked!!

Surely a scam.  Has been calling me about 10 times a day for the past 2 weeks.  What pests!

I do not answer toll free calls.
