This was Lending Tree!  I had called them some months back to get rates but decided NOT to use them.  The rep I spoke with told me she would remove my telephone number from their company.  She knew nothing about any PQ Code that their voice mail requested to get through.  I just punched in the number that the previous person posted to get through.  Very weird.

This number belongs to Home Loan Center.  You can call them at 800-756-0789 and ask the operator to remove your number from their call list.  I, too, finally go frustrated as I received a phone call every day at 11:15 CST and no one was on the other end.  When I called the number back it would tell me to enter the PQ number referenced in my email.  I finally tracked down the above 800 number which belongs to the same company, Home Loan Center.

The call comes in, I don't answer and no message is left on voicemail.  This happens at least twice a day.  After reading about the number here.  I agree it must be Lending Tree.  I called them recently to inquire about a mortgage refinance. I'm gonna call their number and request they remove me from their list!

It is Lending Trees Home Loan Center.  The rep was friendly, said he would place my number on the Do No Call registry but that it could take up to 10 business days for my number to be fully removed from the system.

I bet they're selling my number to every telemarketing firm right now!!

Same here receiving the calls 3x a day - I'm sure it's lending tree - I would never do business with them after the weird things that happened once I started to correspond with them.

Thanks for the phone number. I just called and after waiting for a few minutes, the operator came on and I told her to remove my number. Hope it works. It was too easy

Both my wife and I were receiving up to three calls a day on our cell phones.  We also had inquired with Lending Tree a couple of months ago about refinancing our mortgage, but decided to stay with our current lender.  Thank you to those who figured out the connection to Lending Tree and the number to call.  When we called we were put on hold for an extremely long time while someone looked into our complaint.  The mortgage supervisor informed us that she would forward our numbers to the Home Loan Center to be removed and that it would take 24-48 business hours to be processed.

I had the same exact problem, I called the 800-756-0789 provided by another poster and requested to be removed from the list.  I hope it works and am grateful to have found this message thread!  Thanks to all that have posted.

This number calls every day and no one answers.

I am also receiving calls from this number several times a day.  When I answer, noone is there.  When I call back a recording asks for the PQ number in the email that they sent me and I have no idea what that is.  This call is from the Home Loan Center a division of Lending Tree. I called the 800-756-0789 referenced in some of the previous posts and asked the operator to remove my number from their calling list.  Thanks, Helen, for posting the number.  I will never use lending tree again, it has been months since I used them to get rates.

Same as the other posters, calls, no one on the line and I called the number (800-756-0789) Helen posted and asked to be removed.  I am also contacting the Do Not Call site to file a complaint.  So far they have been less than helpful to say the least.  Thank you Helen!

just ignore these bothersome people

I have been receiving two to four calls per day from this number on my cell phone.  Never a message and it was only through searching the web and found this site that I found who owns the number.  I did call and asked to be put on the Do Not Call list.  They advise it takes 24hrs so I have made note of my time and if I continue to get calls, I will make a formal complaint.  Thank you for this website and the information.

They keep calling me and asking for someone I don't know.  Once I was talking to them (wasting my minutes and money) telling them this when I got called by another number wanting the same person.  Talk about frustrating.  They have promised at least twice now to update their files.  Still waiting.....

I had the same problem for months!. What you need to do is call the number. When you call it won't let you talk to a real person unless you put in a mortgage number. Just put in "1234567" and use that as your mortgage number. This lets you talk to a real person. Tell them you want to be on their do not call list. I was very nice to the person as you can't blame in on some low level employee on the phone. Plus you want to make sure it is taken care of and honey is better than piss and vinegar.

It is Lending Tree. They kept calling me and never left a message. I told them to remove my number from the list. They said they would remove it but the calls continued for weeks after. They are so unprofessional that I will NEVER use their service again. Lending Tree must be a scam. I am filing a formal report after I finish here. Thanks.

Do what someone earlier suggested: Call them back, enter 1234567 as the PQ reference number, and then ask politely to be removed from their list. I did this, and my phone log says it took me exactly 58 seconds.
