Thank goodness for CALL DISPLAY(*SO* worth the investment these days)! I've stopped picking-up on Unknown Number, Unknown Caller, Private Number, Private Caller, +1[(Area Code) and NumberOnCallDisplay] and (the most insidious one) THE [BLANK for name] &/or [BLANK for number] calls.
Interestingly, had that first call I had tonight(06/06) rung 2min later(6:06 pm), the demonic nature of the date & tyme might explain EVERYTHING! lol Calls from HELL, I say! Who knew the telephone lines ran so deep underground?!
Please DO KEEP UP these sites! Seeing that the DNC List is doing diddley-squat, it's up to us - the fed-up consumers - to do all the legwork in trying to bring some tranquility to the supper-hour.
Vote for Peace & QUIET... ~;) tsi

Well, I took a plunge and answered the telephone ringing me CallDisplayed with this number today. {Sheer morbid curiosity or the Power, Moxy & Strength that comes with the confidence of a woman with PMS? lol}
The Caller introduced herself as a representative/agent for CIBC with a Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Interestingly enough, the caller used a name associated with this household *and* CIBC. Also, we *had* recently conducted bank business at a CIBC.
So, what? Is this number[1(866)534-9105] being used willy-nilly by anyone who needs a 1-866 number? Surely there are enough 1-800, 1-866, 1-888, 1-8XX numbers to go around. If not, hows about reclaiming numbers currently being (ab)used by the vulturous leechy sorts in the TeleMarketers' Swamplands?
Now, my curiosity *is* piqued. And if only for the sake of message boards like this one, I will answer future calls from this number(if any; I *did* ask they never call here again with anything other than *actual* bank business) and report the results again here.
Thanks for all your 411 and for indulging my hypergraphiaic tendencies... ~;)tsi[aka SoTCA]

{AT LAST! That really expensive piece of paper I had framed is paying off and giving me/us a return for our money(and all the trees used for papers written & submitted)!}

- Ryan replies to James| 1 replyCIBC employees' performance ratings are largely calculated based on results on surveys like this. You probably screwed the last teller you talked to out of a promotion or raise.
