Subscriber Services, Inc out of Arvada, CO.  First you receive a text from 75612 (or 756-12) saying you won a $250 Gift Certificate to Walmart.  When you call, they attempt to trick you into a magazine subscription.  You can find more on the scam at ripoffreport, scaminformer etc.  If you're reading this, likely it won't happen to you.  Figured it was my turn to contribute to this website since there were no other posts on this number and I use it often.  Thanks to those who contribute.

Thanks, appreciate the 'heads up' on this scam.  I received a text from '756-12' and 'fell' for it, calling (877) 537-9266 since I recently completed a Wal-Mart surveyand the text message said I won a $250.00 Wal-Mart voucher.  I called @ approximately 6:00 PM EDT and got a voice message telling me to call back befor 4:00 PM EDT.  Then  checked here.  Will NOT be calling back.

I got the same exact text message.  I deleted it after reading your posting, what some will do to scam others.  Thanks!

I got this message this morning from 75612. It says send Stop to Stop. Is this what I need to do to stop the messages ?

I got a text from the same number also requesting me to call 877-962-7677. The text read, "thanks you for visiting our site. Please call (877) number to claim your $100.00 Walmart Giftcard!" I figure it is some kind of a scam....so I haven't called the number. It said to text "stop" to stop further messages, which is what I'm going to do. Thanks for your postings!!

Well, I also got this text shortly after completing the Wal-Mart Survey from my Wal-Mart receipt.  It is obvious that someone has hacked Wal-Marts Survey website and that they are stealing all of the phone numbers that are entered there.  I did contact the FTC and also sent an email to Wal-Mart concerning this Fraud.  Hopefully something will come of it.   The FTC did say that they need many complaints so that it registers as a trend before it will really be checke in to.  So if anyone has time to do it you may want to go ahead and call the FTC and make a complaint.  1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357)

Thanks very much for the warning. I got the same msg and after a while talking to a guy about some magazine subscription, he asked for my credit card number. That raised my suspicion so I told I would call back. And then I found this website. What a waste of time.

I received a text from 75612 at 3 am telling me to call them back at 888-958-3648. Message says Please call us @ 1- 888-958-3648 We have been trying to reach you about your Walmart $100 gift card voucher.  I have not called them back and have blocked both numbers.

Got similar call from phone number 775-980-0212 - I tried to do reverse lookup and it is somewhere in Nevada (Austin).  Had to pay a small fee to see who owns the number - but I don't live in the USA, so can't report anyway.  Maybe someone in the states will investigate????

Sorry the actual number from my call display is 775-981-0212.  the "980"-0212 is the number they gave me to call when I asked, but the call display said 775-981-0212 - that is the one that works with reverse look-up, the "775-980", does NOT work.

I also received similar message from 7029277813 to call 877 537 9266. I am replying them STOP!

This is not a scam! I did receive my voucher and could use it other places as well, like Best Buy, Target, Red Lobster, gas and many many other places. I did subscribe to the magazines because I buy them out of the grocery store anyway so it worked for me and the $250 came in handy!!

Hell yeah scanners they sure make it seem so good and easy to easy .LOL don't fall for it big scam . Make u think ur getting a 250 voucher all u have to do is pay 17.00 for some magazines. They will call from many of area codes. And samanatha you scanners ur a joke what do you take us for.

Soooo glad I read these posts on this scam. I too, recently completed an online Walmart survey for a $1000 gift card. Then, I get the same text from (877)537-9266 claiming I won a $250 Walmart gift card. Did not call the # after I checked it out. Thanks to this great website!
