this company keeps calling me about wanting to apply to different colleges related to my studies

Have been calling me non stop! I haven't been answering..either ignoring it or just putting my phone on silent! Starting to get very upset with this!

This number has been calling my cell phone many times a day.  I do not answer since it comes up with no name.  I do not know anything about this number and wish to have them remove my number from their call list.

I've recieved a call from this number plus another one asking if i wanted to further my education. I told them I wasnt interested & hung up. Still getting calls! Why dont these people get the hint!!!!

I don't want to be called by 1-877-543-2655

I got a call from 877-543-2655 today. I answered and there was nothing/nobody there.

I am on a do not call list for the private number that is called everyday from 877-543-2655 and no messages are left. The calls need to stop.

These people will not leave me alone!!!!!!  How do I make them stop?

This company keeps calling me about colleges, i am already in school.

PLEASE STOP. I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize.

Called my house 4 times in one day, and I am also on the do not call list.

Googled the number, and in the first two pages I saw 3 relevant links:

http://collegecomplete.com/
http://www.facebook.com/pages/CollegeCompletecom/155552847802037?v=wall
http://www.collegecomplete.com/testimonials.aspx

I was curious, because usually it's difficult to track down the spammers, so I called the number back.

When the person answered (I believe it was Tim), he did answer "College Complete". I told him to immediately put me on the DNC list or I'd file a formal complaint. He apologized, and he was nice and professional and sincere, and he assured me I'd be removed from the list. After that I did not receive another call.

As a further test, I called the number again two weeks later. Got another person (Tiffany) who also answered "College Complete". Talked with Tiffany for a while about colleges, and about their service, and wound up hanging up about 10 minutes in since I'm really not looking to go to school.

Conclusion:

This number definitely belongs to CollegeComplete.com. And they definitely need to adjust their systems not to be so persistant (4 times in one day is too much and turns people off). But they do seem to be decent people, and if I was looking to go to school, I probably would have allowed Tiffany to help me :-) I wish more telemarketers would be as up front about their 800 number, too, as CollegeComplete.com was very easy to find online, and one phone call was all it took to stop the calls forever (as of the time of this post, at least).

(Update: speaking of not hiding, LOL, these guys actually sponsor a NASCAR with a big CollegeComplete.com logo on the hood - http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=394139&FS=NASCAR-NS...company seems legit)

I'm getting picture messages from this number. Called it back and, you guessed it, Collegecomplete. I'm glad this information was available but, ya gotta admit, picture messages. Give 'em points for creativity.

Thank you for the information. God bless you.

I was on numerous job seeking websites and this number somehow got hold of my phone number from my resume.  I get calls 6 or more times per morning, in row!  I just called them up and told them I am not interested and to take my name off their call list.  The guy could see who he was talking to, he knew my name.  He told me to give it 24 hours.  I have had calls from other solicitors and did the same thing.  They no longer call me.  Good Luck, and call 'em back and tell them to take your name of the list!

Please stop calling me from the number 1-877-543-2655

These people call me about every 45 min all day long. this is rediculous. STOP NOT INTERESTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this number call me before asking if I wanted to further my education. I told them no and to not call again. That lasted about three weeks before they started all over again. It happened when I had to add my cell phone number to job resumes on line.

Please stop calling me from the number 1-877-543-2655.

STOP calling ME!!!

Getting calls from this number with no messages. Has to be some telemarketing annoyance...
