Answered phone after first ring, they hung up. Its Yellow Pages Accnts Receivable - their explanation was that we took too long to answer the phone. Rediculous that 1 ring is too long and if its important why dont they wait???

Guy says his name is Sean from Access Payments. He says we are entitled to rate reductions because of the chip enhancement update. OH FOR PETE'S SAKE!!! After over a year of multiple companies calling about a rate reduction we are entitled to, now I have to deal with a new spiel? I tell him we are not interested but he doesn't respect that and goes on to say what I have heard a (no exaggeration) a hundred times. They aren't selling anything. Like I believe he's just calling around as a volunteer. Well just give me the rate reduction then. FECK OFF. I hang up on him and then he calls back over and over - which I ignore. And he continues to call every day. Thank goodness for call display. I'm not an idiot. I know that whatver deal is offered it will cost money. Maybe it would save in the long run, but we do not have the money to change. So fed up with these calls. It feels like harassment.

Yes, my company occasionally lumps invoices together and writes one big payment, so it may be "overdue".

But if this is YellowPages Group, automated dialing, hanging up immediately and sending a different "Accounts Payable" person to call every time is atrocious service.  We receive these almost daily, and it is borderline harassment, especially as I keep telling them that we are working with them already to sort things out!

I seem to have gotten caught up by them faxing me some information about my yellow page add and I thought it was our regular yellow page add and now they want over $2000.00. Its a big scam they have going on.

This number keeps calling and hanging up, it is apparently a yellow page scam.

This is YP accounts receivable. Their service and ROI is a joke!!! Ive had nothing with problems with them for the last 4 years from billing to graphics to actual results. Ive been waiting for a call back from client services for 3 months.  PLEASE READ BELOW!

Yellow Media Inc. owns both Canpages and Yellowpages. Their stock price has fallen from $6 at the start of this year to around 15 cents... yes thats down 98% in 1 year from a high of $18!!!  They had to write-down the value of their company by $2.8 billion in Q3 of this year. The banks demanded 500 million back immediately and 250 mill every 3 months. They can not borrow money because their debt has been classified as a junk bond. DO NOT PAY YOUR YP or CANPAGES INVOICES and lets end this egotistical former monopoly businesses once and for all. Its useless. Spend your money with Google or local papers. They know that Google killed them and they're just hanging on and firing staff which makes the service even worse.

Wow this is great info. I tried to setup advertising for the first time through yellow pages. I was told if I wanted to go through with it I would have to print out, sign a contract, and send it back. I decided not to advertise but yet received a bill one Month later. I keep getting phone calls from this number and now received a second bill. If this isn't resolved looks like I'm taking them to small claims.

There is NO outstanding account.  

If I get someone that speaks normal english I'll straighten that out by DEMANDING they show me a signed invoice.

I took an online ad with them.  Have to say service sucks.  They screwed up my business address online and on the mailing address for the billing and STILL won't discount anything.  

Save your money  and skip the online part.  
( they hype up the traffic stats to your sites.  At first you think great!  Then you read its impressions NOT unique impressions.)

So if someone likes your site and goes to it a few and looks around, they count lots of impressions.

after a year of dealing with these clowns.  I will never deal with yellow pages online again.  repeating cycles of no invoices for 3 - 4 months.  Then collection calls that I haven't paid my invoices.  I explain I don't have ANY invoices tp pay.  Finally getting the outstanding invoices(by email) and paying them.  Only to repeat the cycle, no invoices for 3 or 4 months then collection calls again.  Been that way ALL YEAR LONG!

Even now, 3 weeks after I paid the last invoice by check they are calling about my outstanding balance??
( five minutes on the phone with them and they find my cheque . . )

months after my one year contract is expired AND they are still trying to get me to pay for YET ANOTHER MONTH?  Its amazing how incompetent this company is!!  Honestly its not worth the hassle to deal with these losers . . .

Don't deal with this company this is the online partner of the MTS (manitoba telephone service).
The phone service is good.  The online part is horrible.

8 months after finishing my advertising contract with them and they are still phoning about my "oustanding bill".  I paid the last bill many months ago and yet they still keep calling and calling.
