I got a text msg from 6504402025 saying " John you have been selected to receive a FREE $50 Target Gift voucher Call 1-877-552-3584 to redeem"   I called the number it is a scam the recording said shopper's edge and it says press 1 and a charge will be billed to your phone I recommend DO NOT PRESS 1 also read this link from BBB http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/busines ... rth-fl-10000302

Texts to my cell phone from 1-650-283-3071 read, "Maggie you have been selected to receive a free $50 Target gift voucher. Call 1-877-552-3584 to redeem" over and over. When I called, a recording identified itself as Shopper's Edge and asks one to join a club and press 1 to have a $9.99 charge billed to your phone.

Texts to my cell phone from 1-650-283-3071 read, Julie you have been selected to receive a free $50 Target gift voucher. Call 1-877-552-3584 to redeem" over and over.

"Andrew you have been selected to receive a FREE $50 Target Gift voucher Call 1-877-552-3584 to redeem."  Thanks for getting my name wrong and cost me 20 cents just to spread your BSing scams

I will report to FCC. I have been on the do not call list for years, and I frequently check to make sure, yet I get at least one of these a week, sometimes more. What good is the do not call list?
Does texting STOP make it worse because you respond? Because I know they just do it again on another number.

Got a text from a 208 area code with the same "Free gift voucher" offer.  Obvious scam!

Same text as everyone below(free $50) gift card...
---but text addressed to my BF name...and just an hr earlier i placed an online shopping order with Walmart for a product with (store pick up)--and listed my phone number and my BF name...because he is picking the order up....... Coincidence? I dont think so. My # is unlisted and im on do not call.
Hackers may be getting into those sites....

Unsolicited txt message concerning a 50 dollar Target gift card.

Same message. Message says "Michael you have been selected to receive a FREE $50 Target Gift voucher Call 1-877-552-3584 to redeem. TXT STOP TO STOP". I did not call the 877 number.

I should have added that the call-from number was 650-276-9649.

My brother got a text on his phone for me from them saying the same thing about the target giftcard.  My brother and I dont even have the same cell provider so I dont know how they are getting their numbers

I received a text from 877-552-3584 offering a $50 gift card. It's a scam company called Shopper's Edge. When you call (I called from a landline) they ask you to press 1 to have $9.99 *per month* charged to your mobile phone bill.

The Do Not Call list does not apply to cell phones.
