They just texted me theoretically in reply to a resume that I sent in.  I don't know the number, and they didn't reply with any real information, like a company name or anything.

I just got the text.  I called the 877 they want to do a verification of the resume or application that you sent in.  They said (I cant remember name something like employer resources) that they verifiy that the information on your resume is correct then they turn it over to their client.  Also said it was going to take 25 minutes.  I declined answerin the questiosn and hung-up.  Sounds weird to me.

I just received a text from 3123505323 "I have just reviewed your application" for some position I supposedly applied for. The call back number being 877-563-9613.

Company doing the verification is suposed to be Career Network (?). I was able to find them online easily but no contact number is listed. Sounded suspicious to me as well so I refused to answer any sensitive related material. Time estimated to complete the questions was then reduce from 25 minutes to two minutes. Doesn't sound very legit.

I have been looking for jobs on Craig's list and this just seems to be another boggus scam. Sucks,  your looking for a real job and now and am bombarded with emails asking for personal information, sales calls and text messages.
