- AnnieI have been getting three to five calls a day from this number. I don't answer calls from 800 numbers or anyone else I don't know. They do not leave a message. It's bordering on harrassment.
- mikeGot a call from this number for a citi bank card, don't have one, hung up.

- Malik| 1 replyI have a Sears credit account and I specifically declined their "insurance" offer when I applied for the card. These people are ridiculous. Sears should be ashamed of themselves. Completely unacceptable. Check out www.donotcall.gov to eliminate calls like this.

- KI've been receiving multiple calls from this number. I finally answered it today and some guy said he was calling on behalf of my Sears credit card with respect to obtaining some kind of ID protection. He spoke fast, gave me a call-back number, rather fast, then hung up.
I called Sears immediately after this and was told Sears does not call about this protection. They will mention it if you call them.
We agree that this was proably a scam call. They did not get any information from me.- Caller: I think it was a scam setup using Sears as a cover.
- jerome| 1 replyI answer and say: "Domino's...pick up or delivery?" ...silence..."Domino's!"...and I hang up.

- karyn replies to JEAN BOWERS| 1 replyJean i'm sorry you have to go through this too. register your number on the do no call list at
www.donotcall.gov. i registered my number there and i hope it works for you too. - jojoEveryone who receives these calls from Sears credit card should go to sears.com and register your complaint, under customer service (feedback). This is the only chance we have to get Sear to wake up and smell the roses. If enough people complain and stop shopping at Sears, maybe they will stop these tactics.

She siad she was from my credit card company.
Didn't mention what card.
I told her I had a good relationship with my card company and that they knew how to pronounce my name and that I was going to call them and tell them about her.
She rattled off another number and told me to call them and then she hung up on me.

- irritated in AZWe have had 9 (nine) calls since 9/9/10. The call times vary but usually start somewhere around 8 am and end somewhere around the time I am trying to eat my evening meal. We have learned to check the caller ID (mounted on the desk) before picking up the phone but it is still a nuisance to have to do so.

- HMultiple Calls showing up on my "caller ID" from 877-576-8022 from "Not Provided" caller. Answering machine was full, so no message left. However, these calls were almost back to back during my "sleeping hours". I work night shift, so I sleep during the day. Well, it's now almost 4:30 a.m. on my day off. (I'm still on the night shift schedule even on my days off). So I decided to call the number about an hr ago and a very "sleepy" sounding woman answered the phone. I told her that the number was repeatedly showing up on my phone and I wanted to know where it was coming from. She began to give me some "spill" on it being an "800" number and not hers "blah, blah, blah......" and told me not to call it again. Well, I hit redial and called it back to back just like it had called my house and kept getting the same woman who became very irate. I told her I was just calling the number the way it was calling me. She replied "I was sleeping", my reply was "so was I". She said she was going to report me for harrassment. Imagine that, she's a front for this number and she's going to report the people she's calling. I guess they don't like being on the receiving end of these "annoying" calls.

- NebraskaGal| 2 repliesI received the first message from this number 877-576-8022 today, Sept. 17, 2010. They call and never leave a message. I have a uniden99 loud and clear telephone that the caller ID announces the caller. It just gives you toll free service and the phone number. If this is a credit card company or a company that the credit card company out-sourced to, such as Sears, and you have a Sears Credit Card or if you have the good Sears Master Card, Citi Card purchased that credit card probably clear back in 2008. If you pay your Sears Master Card online take a look after you type in the URL and you will notice it usually changes to CitiCard. But the fact is, if this is something to do with a credit card that you have then you have what is termed "a business relationship" and that gives them the right to call you to try and sell you some new product. And the government "Do Not Call" registry is useless. That registry is only to stop the calls from true telemarketers that you have never done any business with the companies they represent. There is nothing we can do to stop these calls except let the individual credit card companies know that you do not appreciate these almost to the point of harassment phone calls day and night, day after day, and to please notate on your credit card accounts that you do not wish to be called and if they have to try and sell you something, to please mail it to you, which you can just throw in your shredder. That is the only way to stop these phone calls. I have just finished contacting all of the Citi Card accounts I have, Sears Master Card, the Citi Card Master Card and the Citi Card American Express and expressed to a Customer Service Supervisor that I do not wish to be contacted by telephone for any new products, and if they feel they have something they want me to try to put it in writing and mail it to me. I do nothing by telephone. And she took all the information and notated it on my accounts and said she would put something in writing in the mail for me to sign and to send back and then my accounts would be marked, this customer does not accept phone calls and I won't be bothered again. So let's hope she knows what she is talking about and this will work for all of us.
