customer are receiving calls from 8775772629 impersonating to be from Microsoft Tech support.  They advise the customer that they received an error report coming from their PC. This is a total SCAM!!!  please be aware and do not allow them to REMOTE into your PC or take Credit card info.

i got a call from these folks. Said there from Microsoft on the message. Sounded like Indian or Pakistan dialect. Left message to call them at  877-577-2629

I got a call from a girl named Genie, who says she's my computer technician, and was checking to see how security was. Could not understand her very well. Had an accent and I was told to call her at the 877-577-2629 number

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face! And be very very leery of numbers when you look to call the real ones, there are fake websites up. Never call numbers from pop ups either, thats scareware.

Mine said she was Maya, sounded Asian, company name mentioned. I don't answer calls with no I'd or number I don't recognize. Thanks for the heads up. Will block.

The caller would not give a company name.   He only said, "I am sure you remember our security company".

Same phone number.  Same guy keeps calling me says that his company works for Microsoft.  At first said they were from I solutions.  Then when I kept yelling at them to take me off there list.  They call me and say that they are from sunrise.  His name is Martin.  Total scam.

The person on the line said they have been receiving error messages from my computer and want to access my computer to repair the problem.

This # has been calling all last week and this week.  I have Dell tech concierge contract.  They had called to do a monthly computer check.  Since I was so busy I kept putting it off.  Last night I answered the phone thinking it was my tech (they speak with an accent also).  She said she was ready to run a security check on my computer.  When she as.ked me to type in "log me in" I thought that was odd, different than what I usually typed it.  I asked, are you from dell?  And she said yes, type in "log me in".  I did. She then asked me to put in my user name and password.  When she said password I called her a liar and that I am going to report her.  From now own, I will not take a phone call,  I will make the call to the number I have on my contract.  These people are evil.  Scammers.

Those links are about tech support scam information and what they are doing. Informational purposes. You can report to Microsoft, you can report them to the FTC,FCC. Keep in mind though that the majority of these calls come from India and Pakistan. Its a scam to gain access to your computer as well as get money out of you for nothing.

No one can tell what your computer is or is not doing..

James Anderson called and claimed he was from our computer tech support and that we had a trojan virus and needed to get into our computer - said the company was Experian - all fraudulent!  We called our company and they told us it was a total scam.  Please be careful - these guys are really, really, good@
