- AlCalls my cell phone, leaves message to call back. When i do call back thay want me to enter my phone number. I do not do this.
- TimThis number has called both my cell phone and work phone several times, and it leaves an automated voicemail when I do not pick up. Its sketchy because they just say they have an important message for you and for you to call them back, but do not identify a company, or a reason for the call.

- I am a business ownerThis is a collection agency. They have called my business's phone number repeatedly asking for one of my employees, whom I assume is delinquent on a loan. The caller wants to talk to the employee and when I say "No" he claims that they do not have the employee's private contact info and wanted me to give it to them....which of course I would never do under any circumstances. They absolutely DO have the employee's private contact info as it has not changed since the employee received the loan. I saw the initial loan application and the employee's current home address and phone were clearly on the application.
The caller is very curt and rudely says that I can end future calls by giving them the employee's contact info (which he claims not to know). Merely because, as the employer, I simply verified employment and wages at the time of the initial loan does not allow this collection agency to continually harrass the employee, and employer, at work.
The Fair Dept Collections Practices Act clearly prohibits collection agencies from contacting a debtor's employer more than once in its effort to track down the debtor. Each subsequest call can land a $1000 fine to the collection agency.
First Niagra needs to review the FDCPA rules on collection practices. I urge any of you getting these calls to review the FDCPA rules so you know your rights.- Caller: First Niagra

- Suzy replies to virgin companyIt is a REAL NUMBER. I just was at my bank, it is a fraud alert company that works with banks to monitor fraudulent activity on people's cards. You should follow up with your bank, we had to get a whole new bank card with a new number. Do not ignore this call!

- UnknownThis is a company that works with First Niagara to collect debts. You can call First Niagara at 800-421-0004 to confirm I confirmed this at the bank. I think they have a glitch in the system b/c we are set up for automatic payments and they call us every month prior to the due date and tell us we are late and need to respond immediately. It's very annoying and makes me want to discontinue my relationship with First Niagara.

- AnonymousThis number continuously calls my desk at work and an automated message says there is an important message from First Niagara bank. I do not have any relationship with that bank, but I called back and the representative looked up my phone number and says he doesn't have an account with that number (no kidding!) and that he can't stop the calls because he does not know what account it's calling about. Super.
- Caller: First Niagara
- Annoyed GateKeeperAutomated message saying to call First Niagara Bank (as others have stated) No name or identity of person this message was for; Not sure why they think just any random person would return this call. or how said message would get back to the correct person. Seems to be a waste of "robo-calling"
I will not be returning any calls to this number. One was a message left on voice mail over the weekend and then a call first thing this morning when I opened up the phones.- Caller: claims First Niagara
- ClareI keep getting these calls. I called them back out of frustration and told them not to call me again....I now have three new messages from them. I don't own anything and do not up have credit cards so they will have to keep calling and I'll keep deleting!
