- Sara| 1 replyKeep calling me every week, saying it is "Imperrative" that we speak...that they have tried to reach me etc. for a long time now and that I need to fix a problem, which they NEVER state. I picked up several times, and asked to be removed from their calling list. THe guy said is "Robert" there...I say no, I am not a Robert, nor do I know anyone named that.
He asks who he is speaking to, and I reply that he should know since he is the one calling me. He then says that there is some problem with my "payments' to such and such a company. I have never heard of this company and when I look it up...there is no record of it. I can't get this person to quit calling and it is very annoying and wastes my minutes! - Joanna Higginbotham| 1 reply10/25/2010
Very smiley friendly upbeat radio-announcement type voice: "This is Mr. Barker, it is imperative that I speak to you today, sember 25.... again this is Mr. Parker..."
Has to be a scam. The message has parts that sound like a bad connection - like split-second rapid-succession intermittent interruptions in the line. starting with the word "sember". The Barker/Parker adds to the illusion. The bad connection ploy is manipulative, since if they can get us to assume we are not getting a clear message and then other unclear things - such as what is this about - don't seem as odd. We are more likely to return the call.
I did not and will not return this call. - jj replies to Joanna Higginbothamsame thing is happening to me.
- k.Same thing happened to me today. I didnt answer because I didnt know the number. He left a recorded message on my phone. He never states why he is calling, just that it is imperative that i return the call so he can work on my case. No one uses a recording if its sooo important that you must call that day. Its a total scam and I didn't and will not call back.

- E.I also am having problems with them. They are calling people that are not related to me. I don't know how in the heck they obtained their phone number. I called and asked them not to call the these
people again and let them know once we request thsi they have to stop. They told me they could do
what ever they wanted. They also didn't tell me why they were trying to reach me, but I figured it
was some sort of collection agency/ I told them they could not bleed a turnip that was already dryed
up/ And told them to do what ever. Jacob proceeded to tell me that people like me had the economy in crisis. Can you believe this? He told me they were an attorney's office, so I told him he was just an
employee like the rest of us. I told him karma was a [***], that his job was not secure and he also
could be on the employment line like the rest of the nation.- Caller: Regent Accounts

- MRI got a threatening message from them on my cell phone so I called them back. The person who answered demanded my secial security number for "verification purposes." When I refused they became angry and read me back the number they had on their records, which was incorrect. I assume to try to trick me into correcting them. I hung up and reported the call to my state attorney general office. Which is what everyone should do when they get the a call like this. The only way to stop this crap is to alert the authorities to these phishing scams.

- sessame recording message, an angry that needs me to deal with this matter immediately. I have no matters to deal with, so obviously a scam. I blocked the number so now it goes straight to vm.
- angrySame guy left message for 3 days says he is Mr Parker. When called back was asked what # I am calling from? and then was told he is looking for a different person, will remove my name from their calling list. Spam or scam.

- Joan HatcherThis number has been calling me and wants to speak to my son in law. They say it is impartive that they speak to him before 5 pm the day of the call.
- Caller: won't say
- LI have been receiving the same harassing phone calls and the person is rude and obnoxious. I finally called them back and told them to take me off their list immediately.
- xyzHas anyone reported the jerk, Parker/Barker to the FBI for his invasion of privacy and veiled threats?
- Tired of thisBeen getting a message on my recorder every day this week. " This is Mr. Parker, yet again, I have called several times and have yet to receive a return call from you" (very snotty) "I need to speak with you about a situation YOU have placed yourself in" (again very snotty and demanding) "if I do not hear back from you by today, by 5pm, I will be forced to take action on the situation YOU have placed yourself in". He never says what the "situation" is or even asks for anyone by name. I'm getting really sick of these calls! Every day, every single day we get the same call. This week it has been "Mr. Parker", last week it was some other name and the week before yet another name.
- This GuyGot the same on my home line. I called after 5pm and left mr parker a message that he had to call me back in the same voice he used on my voice mail. I have an easy job, and will have plenty of time to call this number all day long :)
- AgnesGot the same call. Call back to get myself out of the 'situation' I've put myself in. I know the situation I'm in and how I got here - but I know I don't owe anyone money or have an arrest warrant out, I'm actually pretty comfortable with my situation - I sleep well at night!

- Mr. AngryI received a call from them a few weeks ago. They were looking for someone that doesn't live at my residents. They called because we had the same last name. They said they took me off their list but I got a call from them a few weeks later (today)... they caught me when I was in a bad mood, so I called them back and demanded to speak to a manager. They kept saying that a manager wouldn't take my call and would hang up on me. So I kept calling back for about 1 1/2 hours straight... After a while I told them I was going to file a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and I needed some information. So I got their information:
Regent Asset Management North America
7720 West 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66213
I also got the name of a manager, Jason Hartshorne.
So then I would call back (877-588-0798) and ask for Jason Hartshorne. The rep put me through to him and once he realized what the situation was, he was rude to me and hung up on me. I told him all I wanted was an apology and assurance that they would stop calling. He did not give me that. So I kept calling back asking for him, but he instructed the reps not to put me through.
I would encourage anybody who is being harassed by these people to call and ask for Jason Hartshorne. Tell the rep you were just talking to him and got disconnected. They will try to put you through to him.- Caller: Regent Asset Management North America

- SassyI get calls on my home machine from Mr. Henderson that has a matter of "yours" (though they do not use my name) that was transferred to him and he's going to act for me without my input if I do not call back by 5:00pm the end of the day. I returned the call from my work phone and got a transferred to a man who answered as Regent, he was going to try to find out what Mr. Henderson wanted; I asked what they do there and he responded that do lots of things and am I calling from the number I received the message, I told him no, he then wanted the area code and number that I received the message. Instead I asked again what they did and if they were a financial institution or a bookstore? The man got very rude stating if I'm not going to answer any questions for him first then he's not going to answer any questions from me, told me to expect more calls, have a good day and hung up on me. OK, this is clearly a scam of some sort.

- stewI got numerous calls from this number as well as 877-591-7732. I called back and got a fairly courteous dude who asked me if I knew a Susan (plus my last name). I said I never heard of her and he said he'd delete my number from their data base. We'll see....... It sounded like there were hundreds of other people on calls in the room. Sure glad I have a real job!
