The message only said that I need to call this number that it was from a law office.

Same message as Cindy - a Mr. Santino - did not as for anyone in the message, said had ben trying to contact for 30 day and would be taking action if I did not respond by 3:00.  Think this is a definately a scam.

Got a message from Mr Santana saying he has made multiple attempts to contact me over the previous 30 days and threatening he would proceed with his assessment if I don't contact him back by 3:00 to speak with him or his assistant.  

No information on who he was attempting to contact or why. I have no outstanding legal actions or issues that would require legal assistance. No known previous attempts had been made to speak with me, but I have received the occasional hang up call.  Suspect a scam.

I called them back and they asked me if the last four digits of my ssn were xxxx.  I said no and they said they would take me off their list.  They never said who they were or any details.  I smell a scam.

Got the same call two days in a row. Called the number and left a message and asked them to tell me my name or go try and fool someone else. Got the phone call again the next day. It is a recording every time. And it says the exact same thing word for word. Mr. Santana get a life.

Called the number back from the message and they asked if I was a  Vincent Contreras, said no and they said they would take me off their list. Hate scammers.

Same message 30 days or he will proceed with action..what action?? Go ahead and get in line fool.

Ok, I have received MULTIPLE calls from this number  and another number 877-591-7730.  Same thing, we have tried to reach you, you MUST call by 6pm, we will move forward with or without your imput, blah, blah, blah.

I called the FTC & reported the number, and even played the message.  They said it is ridiculous.  They do not say any specifics, they are just harassing.  If it is from a debt collector they ARE REQUIRED to say that, their name, the company name, etc... they should also send a letter.  

I filed a complaint, it took two minutes.  I urge you to do the same.

Rec'd a message on my google voice number which is used as a recorded line for technical support issues in an I.T. department.  I can verify there were no messages from this number in the previous 30 days and
the first part of the message cut-off so they didn't identify who they are.  Sounded threatening and I'm
suspecting a scam or some sort of "faux collection agency".  I saw another post on another site like this
that said they were a collections bureau for police issues tickets in Illinois but I live in Minnesota and can't
imagine why they'd bother calling me.

Got the same type of call about 30 minutes ago. Though this guy said his name was something like Mr. Lichen and identified himself with RAM Services...past that everything else above is pretty much spot on for what the rest of the message said.

Yeah got the same one this morning. Said Mr. Lankin (?) from RAM and call back by 6:00 or he will move forward.  Go for it dude...I'm reporting this to FTC.

Rec'd three messages on my cell phone, same exact voice but one was "Mr Adams" one was "Mr Pennington" and the other "Mr Rigley. They all say the same thing that they have left numerous messages and it is imperative to call back by a certain time. Odd as there is three names for the same voice. They are idiots.

We had the same type of message on our answering machine.  From a Mr. Liken or Lankin from Ram company. He said they have tried contacting us for the past 30 days and if we didn't call back 877-591-7654 by 6pm he would take action.  We received a similar message back on 9/21 but from a Mr. Bogard at 877-591-7732.  This has to be a scam.

Yes, I got the same message today, said he wants me to call by 6pm, so I called and left a message.  Go to ftc.gov to report this as scam.

I got a call from this number.  They didn't say my name in the message, just that an intermediary had been trying to reach me for 30 days and if I didn't call back by 4:00, they were going to move forward on some kind of assessment.  Very frustrating!

I filed a complaint to the FTC (federal trade commission) by the phone, She said it sounded like a scam.  I.  There web site is ftc.gov.

I called the 877 number back and left a message, will see how bad they want to talk to me!  Wow, what a deal...kind of scares the crap out of ya.  Had another call a few months ago for my neice in NE, not sure why they called me in WI!  Oh well, hope this helps out more people

I got the same got from a Mr Liken?.  I am not only going to call the FTC I am going to notify the States Atty General.  I say bring it on big boy!!!

Caller Mr. Liken, RAM, call back by 4:00 or they will go forward.  Same as the other postings.  Very threatening tone, makes me laugh.  Phone numbers to call back 87-591-7730, and 877-591-7654.  I will report to FTC and States Attorney.

same as everyone else, want it me to call back. The only RAM I know is the Dodge RAM

Got a call from Mr. Liken today about 10:45 AM, CST with all the same stuff about intermediaires having tried to contact me in the last 30 days, and that if they didn't hear from me by 6 PM, they would move forward with the "assessment process". I even called the number 3 times and got put on hold everytime. The call either dropped, or I hung up after 10 mins. on hold. This is just a sicko attempt at a scam on somebody's part.
