I have been, message said it was for a job op.

Had a message on answering machine about job op. Didn't call it back. Did anyone call it back. I am curious to who it is.

They called me and then I had to press 1 to talk to someone. No one picked up, so I left a voicemail. Scam?

Also received voice mail about job opportunity.  I wonder what company

yea same happened with me.I got a call, I left a voice mail. Because of curiosity I called back again and again it went on voice mail. If anyone comes to know which company it is, please let everyone know.

I just got a call on my answering machine about my resume and a possible job opportunity.  Called the number 1-877-593-0164 only to get a voice mail.  I'm still trying to track it down.

Rec'd call from 1-877-593-0164. The same scenario as the previous posts. I called, followed prompts and got no where. I suspect its some sort of scam.

Same story, but didn't bother calling them back because if it were a well-to-do company, the voicemail would contain the name of the company.

@Massacusetts My thoughts exactly about the Co's name not being in there. BTW, the people that are receiving these calls, are you signed up on Monster or Careerbuilder?

I recived a call from them today on my cell phone. Now the only place that I know where my cell phone is listed is on my resume. I have my resume both on Monster and CareerBuilder. It looks like other people are also located in Massachusetts. Are these calls only being recived in the Bay State?

I got the same message that you all got. My resume is on both of those sites and I am in Massachusetts too. Havent called them back yet. Was thinking the same thing about them not leaving the company name. Glad I looked it up before I called them back

I'm in Mass and received a call regarding a job op too.  Definitely a scam!

I just got a voicemail from this number too - same thing, saying they got my resume and wanted to discuss a job opportunity, but they didn't leave a company name, which seems really unusual. I have actually been applying for jobs though, which is why I did a search on the number and found this thread.

I am also living in Massachusetts and I have my resume on Monster, but not on CareerBuilder.

I got this call too but if it's a scam then they have to be stupid cause they are not gaining anything by it from any of us. I think i will call the better business burrow to find out more about it or the attorney generals office of consumer affairs. I will update you if i find out anything.

UPDATE:   I called the Massachusetts attorney generals office and they told me to file a complaint with the federal trade com and they will take care of it.

yes, I got this voicemail saying it was for a job interview and they had my resume.

Seems strange they will not say WHAT/WHO they are?>??

   Oh, well, this stinks when you are "really" looking for a job  8-(

Received a message today from them, glad I checked the number before calling back. I'm on Monster.
